Mueller's team springs a few leaks, someone is pissed at Barr.

The NYT is reporting leaks from some of the Mueller team insisting that there is significant evidence of obstruction of justice. Additionally the team had prepared multiple summaries which Barr did not reveal.

What we should be asking is which source of power likely causes cancer, wind or coal?

Does Trump want more Central Americans fleeing to US? That's what his aid cutoff will do.
    Sheba Crocker, Opinion contributor
    Published 7:00 a.m. ET April 3, 2019

Does Trump want more Central Americans fleeing to US? That's what his aid cutoff will do.

    excerpt:

"Central American migration is rooted in violence, hunger, political instability and grinding poverty — the very hardships and challenges U.S. development assistance to the region helps to alleviate. El Salvador and Honduras have among the highest murder rates in the world. And Guatemalan migrants — many of whom never recovered from a devastating El Nino drought in 2014 — cite lack of food as the top reason they leave their homes.

Right now, people in these countries need more partnership, investments, and support from the U.S. Not less."

Barrage of setbacks spoils Trump’s post-Mueller reset
A claimed 'exoneration' after the Russia probe seemed to promise a fresh start for the president. No such luck.

Barrage of setbacks spoils Trump’s post-Mueller reset

    excerpt:

"And news reports revealed that Mueller’s soon-to-be-released findings may be far more damaging than Attorney General William Barr has publicly indicated, suggesting that the Russia scandal is hardly in the president’s rear view window.

The action reached a crescendo on Thursday when Trump backed down from days of threats to “shut down” the U.S.-Mexico border in response to what he calls an illegal immigration and drug-trafficking crisis. Facing intense opposition from congressional Republicans, business groups and his own senior aides, Trump said he would give Mexico a “one-year warning” to stop the flow of drugs into the United States.

While Trump added a new threat to slap tariffs on cars manufactured in Mexico, he was effectively backing down for the second time in a week on an issue he had elevated. Trump overruled senior members of his administration last week and took legal action to invalidate Obamacare. Days later — again under pressure from members of his own party — he deferred any new action on health care reform until after the 2020 election, leaving fellow Republicans bewildered and fearing the political fallout over an issue that has proven toxic for the GOP."

Since Trump got elected White Supremacists and White separatists have gravitated to the Republican party and have become bold in their violence. Many attacks on Synagogues and Mosques have occurred all over America. In many attacks the attacker wore a MAGA hat, as in the case of the man who pointed a gun at Muslim teenagers in Minnesota. The Covington Catholic protesters who confronted the Omaha Indian in Washington DC recently also wore MAGA hats. A few weeks ago In Indianapolis, a Trump supporter shot a Muslim man on highway 465, in broad daylight. Now I've got a report emailed to me which says the Highlander Center in New Market Tennessee has been burned down to the ground and a White Power sign was left on the parking lot. The center has carried out social justice work for years. The FBI also released a report to say White Supremacist activity has gone up since Trump has become president.

In one week, 4 major Trump-policy spins and flips - CNNPolitics

    excerpt:

"The border with Mexico will not be closed.

Republicans will not soon present a replacement for the Affordable Care Act.

He doesn't actually think the Mueller report on Russian election interference should be publicly released.

His nominee to head Immigration and Customs Enforcement is his nominee no longer."

One of Trump's main talking point in the 2016 campaign and early in his term was crime in the U.S. He referred to it as 'American carnage' in his inaugural address, as if crime was at an all-time high when in fact it was low.

Trump hasn't offered any pragmatic remedies It's been mostly populist rhetoric which includes his claimed cause of illegal drugs entering from Mexico (which he thinks he can stop with a wall) and his branding of migrants collectively as violent. It fits in with his zenophobic psychological state and triggers a deep nerve in what remains of his populist base.

He has done a photo-op with a group of Arpaio-style dissident sheriffs posing on a grandstand at the White House, some of whom were later found to have corrupt backgrounds. He threatened to send the military into Chicago to try to reduce inner city crime, similar to his empty threat to send the military into Mexico. After another paper tiger threat to shut down the border with Mexico, he changed his mind and gave Mexico a one-year warning.

I found an article about case 1:16 -cv- 04642 Jane Doe and Jeffrey Epstein. The article is by Kelvin Wade and it is about a woman who claims to have been raped by Trump in 1994 when she was 13, and it seems there was a witness, a second woman. Trump is on record saying he'd known Epstein for many years and that he thought Epstein is a terrific guy with a taste for girls on the younger side. Epstein was convicted of 36 counts in sex related crimes against minors but was let off easy by a Trump appointee.

Yes, this is well known but Trumpers don't care.
I believe she was suing him but dropped the case due to death threats.

Tump is spouting nonsense at a greater rate
    By Michael D'Antonio

Trump is spouting nonsense at a greater rate (opinion) - CNN

    excerpt:

"In interviews in the 1980s and '90s, according to Stat News, Trump "spoke articulately, used sophisticated vocabulary, inserted dependent clauses into his sentences without losing his train of thought, and strung together sentences into a polished paragraph, which — and this is no mean feat — would have scanned just fine in print."

More recently, noted Stat, "Trump's vocabulary is simpler. He repeats himself over and over, and lurches from one subject to an unrelated one." When shown examples of the two Trumps, experts saw symptoms that "can indicate slipping brain function due to normal aging or neurodegenerative disease."

If Trump were a private citizen, his condition wouldn't matter to anyone outside a close circle. He would be evaluated, his father's Alzheimer's disease might be noted as a red flag, and, one hopes, he would get the help he needs. But Trump is the most powerful person in the world and can do great harm with what he says."

Trump's 'pattern of cognitive decline' alarms psychiatrists

Trump's 'pattern of cognitive decline' alarms psychiatrists

    excerpt:

"“He is rapidly declining,” Lee, the group’s president, said of Trump in an interview. “His rallies have been increasingly less coherent, with greater signs of paranoid responses, increasing attraction to violence, increasing espousal of conspiracy theories. A few weeks ago, there was the ‘Tim Apple’ episode, and the other day he referred to Venezuela as a company, while recently he confused his father’s birthplace with his grandfather’s.

“His mistakes are growing more and more bizarre,” Lee said. “If we match the pattern of his deterioration against pathology, what disease states look like, we can say he is not well.

“Continually we have been seeing that his erratic thoughts and behavior are more consistent with mental pathology than strategy. Now we are seeing a pattern of cognitive decline.”"

I’ve decided what color the ribbon should be to raise awareness of the epidemic of TDS. It should be that of his proud mane. The color of gold as spun by angels. In a gentle breeze it reminds me of the amber waves of grain of our great nation...⚾️

Trump's wife, Melania (who hasn't released her immigration records), got her parents and older sister (whose immigration records haven't been released) from Europe to the U.S. permanently apparently via chain migration, the approach Trump says he is against (similar to Trump railing against imported merchandise while his family businesses rely heavily on imports). Her father for a while was living at a Trump property in the U.S.

Other people in a destitute situation in constrast to Melania's relatives don't fare as well due to Trump's travel ban and not having the special status of the Trump family.

Trump travel ban: Thousands of 'desperate' families remain separated
In the ban's first year, just 6 percent of those who applied for waivers to enter the U.S. were approved, according to new State Department data.

'People have forgotten’: Thousands of families remain separated by Trump’s travel ban

    excerpt:

"The Syrian capital has seen bombings and chemical attacks since the country’s deadly civil war began in 2012. After nearby explosions, the exterior of Nasri’s home is crumbling, while electricity, drinking water and propane are in short supply. She suffers from anxiety and arthritis, but it’s hard to get treatment because many doctors have fled.

“Damascus is hell on earth,” said Adi, 46, who owns a dental practice in Virginia. “I need to get my mother out of there.”

With Adi’s help, Nasri petitioned for a U.S. visa. But first she needs a waiver, because Syria is one of the countries targeted by President Donald Trump’s travel ban, the others being Libya, Iran, Somalia, Yemen and North Korea, plus some people associated with the government in Venezuela.

Nasri has heard nothing since she requested the waiver more than 15 months ago and is losing hope of ever making it to the U.S."

The epidemic is Trump & Pence fueled white supremacy and white nationalism throughout the Amber Waves of Grain. America's farm country is a stronghold of the Ku Klux Klan and every one of them loves Mike Pence because he has reconstituted the KKK as DC Stephenson had envisioned it.

I grew up in dairy country and there indeed are real problems......but the cause is certainly not what the Trumpite say; they are the cause. Predatory capitalism, lack of rural services, and a loss of community have devastated family farms. Tragically, the “R” koolaid dispensers have convinced many that hate, racism, me first politics will make things better.....THEY WILL NOT.
