I haven't played much other than iRacing since Xmas. Haven't loaded up RDR2 and maybe 2 games of madden.
I used to play eSport, expecially dota 2 or cs go and even betting at it. Maybe someone will say that this is not a game, but why? I am not an adherent of the usual betting bookkeeper, I prefer to bet against other players, as I will be sure that I will get the loser’s bet if won and vice versa. If someone interested here is a link where i used to play. This gives an unusual sense of intrigue, you can even say a friendly bet.
World of Warcraft. Ashes of Al'ar dropped for me a couple days ago. I actually screamed "Oh My God". And I almost never swear. My internet connection dropped less than a second after I downed the first boss in The Eye and got saved to the instance. It was down for about an hour. I didn't even get a chance to loot the boss, but that doesn't matter. Had I taken a second longer to kill the first boss (or just a second longer to start fighting it) the instance would very likely have reset by the time I got back online, and I would never have known what I had just missed.
I can see ObiWan fighting alongside what appear to be enemy troops! Very interesting. How old is the game?
I'm actually hanging out on POGO.com now. Don't really game like I used to. My guy bought me the Sims3 but when I found the Life Fruit and the Money Tree, I got bored with it. Looking for a new game now and might get me a Nintendo Switch or something because I like cutesy games.
I fired the ol' ps4 up last night to play some Battlefront 2 or my new singleplayer adventure Ghost of a tale but saw some friends playing RDR2 online so went horse racing with a bunch of guys in a chatparty. Just chillin and racin!
Lately, I've been playing Moonlighter from Steam. I think it was developed for switch. Although, I don't have one, so I can't be one hundred percent sure. It's an action RPG, which is most of the games I play. My brother and I share a PS4, so when I'm home from school, I've been playing a lot of Street Fighter 4 and Fortnite. I can't seem to get into APEX, not sure if any of you guys are into it. Ooh! Also, I've been showing my mom the fun of video games by playing Overcooked with her. It's a casual game but great for parties and stuff.
So, apparently the game that I was interested in (Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice) is really hard. And the developers are famous for creating games that people struggle with. The problem: it still sort of looks good to me. But generally, I'm put out by a game that is overly challenging. I'm tempted to run out and get money together to buy a system though. What usually happens is I end up putting off playing to sort of save it for the right time. It's like I don't want to waste that precious game time on the wrong part of the day or some weird thing, and then in the end I conclude that I don't play the games enough to warrant having a system. I then sell that system, and then I don't have one, which is where I am now.
I often dislike gaming before evening. It's an evening pastime for me clearly. But if I have a superb one going I can make exceptions And yeah, TOO hard usually makes me stagnate to. Although sometimes the difficulty is connected to high quality gameplay and if that's combined with great graphics and setting I can be seduced. Hence why i have Dark souls 3 and Bloodbourne still laying around
I don't mind a good challenge. I'm trying to think of a game I just never finished... There been a few but not really like any good games you'd care about. I guess I fail to finish any elders scroll games and fallout games lol.
Same here actually: Fallout 4 and Elder scrolls: Morrowind. Great games but never came close to the end. I'm over both now I know several people who also massively enjoyed Morrowind at the time but Undies is the only one I know who actually completed the main story
