I've got a glass desk... often when I clean it, it's got streaks all over it... so i guess you could say that I *streak*

I have gone streaking before, but that was a long time ago. Nowadays, it's too risky. If you get caught, you will be arrested and charged with indecent exposure or lewd behavior, and forced to register as a sex offender. So now I only practice safe-streaking; I run around naked in the privacy of my home.Peace.

How exactly do they "make" you register as a sex offender? Do they like make you do that or you get extra jail time or something? I would think its wrong to make someone register as a sex offender if they did nothing criminal to deserve such a title. Id just refuse to do it if it happened to me and take whatever consequences Id get. I woudlnt agree to something I didnt beleive was right.

 

I think all this criminal action for going nude mostly is just to scare people by paranoid indviduals who have had a bad experience with the law and think thats what happens to everybody. I beleive that if you wanna streak go streak and if youre doing nothing wrong then you shouldnt worry about it and when you get arrested you just explain yourself and dont give the law any reason to think youre doing anything differently than you say you are.

 

Basically, if you are convicted of a sex crime and you don't register, if you're found out, you go to jail. And they "upgrade" your conviction too (there are degrees to sex crime just as there are to murder).

You can get in much trouble that way, so - be careful...

 

Jail time seems better than having the label of sex offender because then noone will want to live around you and noone will want to hire you. Besides if you sign up for being a sex offender it basically just proves what they claim about you is right and that you agree with them, then they win. I wouldnt think most people would want to give them that satisfaction.

 

Streaking wouldn't be streaking if much of the population went nude. It would be like running down the street with your clothes on.

 

Yes, and if my aunt had balls, she would be my uncle! Streaking is what it is JUST BECAUSE much of the population doesn't go nude.

 

I used to streak as a teen but that was in the 70s when it was different.

My understanding is that they don't "make you" register. They register you as one if you meet certain legal requirements. No choice.

The sex offender label is the modern scarlet letter. Marked for life.
