Are they daily contacts or monthly?
I'd love to have monthly but I need to take mine out every day.

I think mine are supposed to last for 8 weeks and I should be taking them out overnight about once a week. I normally take them out every week but probably use them for longer than 8 weeks. These are newer but I'm pretty sure I put them in before I left for Europe last month so it's been about 3 weeks I think. I just realized it's been that long as I thought about it. No wonder they are messed up.

I’m guessing you wear hard lenses for the keratoconus?

True. My eyes are prone to create calcium so if I sleep with them I wake up and everything is a blur, but I wear hard permeated lenses and they are washed with hydrogen peroxide and they last about 5 years.

See? Ole Fuddy remembers these things. :p

Glad you take care of them. I’ve seen people leave contacts in when they shouldn’t (or not clean them when they should) and have it cause all sorts of issues.

I'm surprised anybody even cared yet alone remembered. :)

I am suppose to not wear them for as long as I do but I cannot help it. I take them out I am blind. The prescription for glasses is too intense. :( I'm just going to have to go in for more corneal transplants at some point. Atm my eye site fluctuates daily, some days are really good. Sometimes not. I only really wear the left though, unless I play pool. Right side hurts a lot. :(

    Thank you. :)

    Anytime Irms.
Sorry to hear about the discomfort though. If you do end up getting the transplants I hope it works out.

And that vision fluctuation has to be extremely frustrating. :/

PS: of course people care. I know I can be an ass sometimes but it doesn’t mean I don’t care.

I'm even more impressed you remembered the name of the disease. My family don't even remember that.
All G. Same goes for me too. Mwah.

I admit that. I really am. And a decent friend of mine is my eye doctor and I'm sure he knows that. :(

Can the soft contacts hurt your eyes really bad? I guess scratching increases risks of inflammation, if you need it I can send a whole host of eye drops. Ones that make your pupil grow, shrink, completely lose feeling too..

Thanks a bunch but I'm all good here. I've scratched my eyes a good number of times. It sucks but it's normally fine in a day or so. I've only had to have the special drops a few times but, man, they are nice....right away! If it's really bad, I can get in touch with my buddy and he will either get me in right away or come to where I am at the time. I'm sure I will be fine in the morning though. Just a normal abrasion.

I wish I was like that guy except I would probably stumble over my own feet while everyone was watching and look like and idiot! :)

I surprised and disappointed by the startling revelations of actor Liam Neeson.

During an interview he revealed that after a relative of his was raped by a black man, he would walk the streets, armed with a weapon, in hopes that he could “kill” a “black bastard” in retaliation.

That is he was hoping to kill an innocent black man to ease his anger.

This is quite interesting. I think we should follow what our heart wants. We feel that desires so if we really want to... we should follow it. It is healthy, new experience to learn something new and most of all, it is fun.
With our "heads" we should find the way or decide to turn something off.
It is indeed interesting that sometimes you must think out what you will follow. And then sometimes, there is a situation where you can't control yourself... you really really want it so you don't listen to anything. Sometimes we follow our hearts but listen to our head.

Man, not gonna fault my pool efforts this morning. 1/3 against division one players, was in every game, my snooker and strategy was on point. So unlucky in my last game I played this guy so well and he had 7 balls always covering my 2 remaining and I ended up gettin out of it 5 times was on the black last but gave away a foul then went for a miracle bank at the end. Missed.

But my second game was on point I ran 6 balls at the end to win against a guy I've never won against so that's good. Our team is getting majorly beaten but all their team are talking to me shaking hands and congratulating me for playing so well and just unlucky. :)

I'm also playing in a div one venue so I have pro players checking out my game and clapping for me when I played smart shots and good shots. Really confidence boosting and I feel like I have turned a corner even in losing. I'm really happy place right now. :)
