For a lot of extra credit in government class (which i need) Our teacher asked us to record her a copy of the State of the Union address and turn it in to her tomorrow. I was out of the house most of the day, so I called my father and asked him to record it for me... "I dont know if i have any tapes that i dont mind recording over." he said. "Oh... well if you find one could you record it?" I said. "Yeah i will check" He said. Upon returning home tonight my dad was still up, so i asked if he found something to record over... "Yes" he replied, "I found this old tape of that Grateful Dead concert we had recorded a long time ago..." I bit my lower lip. Hard. Now, I dont listen to the Dead that much, but i did particularly like that concert, and im pretty sure it isn't readily available in many other places. I tried my hardest not to scream, because he seemed glad that he was able to help and that i had actually thought about school today. So i muffled the screams as much as i could and retreated to the confines of my room. But now, instead of an ancient copy of an old friend, i have a hour-something long speech from our wonderful King Bush that i must turn in to my twitchy government teacher tomorrow.
