Actually I don't think it is rare for monogamous relationships to turn into poly relationships after time. Through my curiosity in the swinging scene, the average age is well in the 40s and over, whereas I seem to be this rare unicorn, young at 31 and everyone I've met says that. Most of the stories are the same too, sex got routine, habitual and boring. Needed to spice it up, tried swinging and liked it and swinging isn't always about sex with other people, some people just like the idea of having sex next to someone else like in soft swinging, or just meeting new friends to talk about sex, even the indication that someone else is into your partner can do wonders for confidence and bedroom lifestyle.

That way I don't have to worry about the hubby, he can sit in the corner and watch. and as I am generally the solo female, I control the show which suits me too.

 

Back in my single days I was one of those who had to have an emotional/intellectual attraction to someone to vibe with them sexually, I just cant do casual sex with whoever. So it wasnt really uncommon for me to go months without having sex.

 

It's been a while.
I just don't see it as anything weird or uncommon. I don't do one night stands, and I'm not into hooking up just for the sake of hooking up.

I don't like my weekend plans just changed from 4WD to not 4WD. I have reschedule to next week. I can go on our own but, I want some back up in case I get stuck so I need to wait for a friend of mine to be free.

The last 2 weeks I've been pretty good with drinking. I've stayed sober Monday Tuesday Thursday and Friday with only few drinks on weekends and Wednesdays at pool. I just wasn't feeling great. I need to pop into work soon for a little while but I look forward to some whiskey cola when I get back home.
