I came here to suggest Walden but you've already read it! :D it's still my favorite book though. have you read civil disobedience?

have you read the notebook? it's a pretty incredible love story....i cried like a baby and i never cry! lol

"God's last offer" is a pretty good book analyzing several trends that have been rising dramatically over the last few decades: overpopulation, energy consumption per capita, loss of biodiversity, and loss of natural resources. it ties them all together very well though it does take a doomsday point of view (which i happen to believe in). its basically a strong advocate for a sustainable lifestyle, which i hope to be living very soon.

ever read any doestoevsky? i didnt spell his name right, but he's a classic. there was a thread not long ago about him. crime and punishment is probably his most popular book, but i like brothers karamazov more.

want to expand your mind? how about reading some philosophy? :D

 Try some works of H.P.Lovecraft. They're rich in lore.

I would suggest "Desert Solitaire" By Edward Abbey, "Cat's Cradle" by Kurt Vonegut, and "Travels with Charlie, in search af America" by John Steinbeck.
