The foot on the goal line part is questionable but he's only considered down on a punt, if both he and the ball are not moving (or he is touched) and he was moving, and attempting to toss the ball to keep it inside the field of play.

It’s only ok to bash people if they are Christian, white, conservative, male, etc etc.

    Otherwise you’re an intolerant bigot

In this thread even intolerant bigots are charmed by the atmosphere of peace and sshh up whilst they're here. It's what I like about it. Like Christmas magic.

People at the party last night told me that the ugly Christmas sweater I was wearing was an image/portrayal of the series "game of thrones "

I've never seen game of thrones.
At the end of the night a bunch of people came to me and said I have to watch game of thrones. We got into discussions on how awesome it is. I think I might try something new.

It's funny I haven't seen breaking bad either.

So half the group at the party was charged up about Breaking Bad was better than Game of Thrones.

It was all fun charged, but man..... both groups were debating, fussin' , arguing, on which was better. Which one should be the series I should watch.... it was interesting and fun to hear both groups have to much passion about their shows.

Here again is my "Game of Thrones " Ugly Christmas sweater. Something about the two wolves, Dragon and winter/Christmas is coming, they all said...

The designer had "winter is coming" from game of thrones in mind...

I don't know. I've never watched the show, nor Breaking Bad.

I, like @Aerianne, haven't seen "Game of Thrones". It's a cool sweater though. I have, however, seen "Breaking Bad". I did not think it was all that special, but I'm a little biased against anything that focuses that extensively on meth. I watched every episode of every season though and it kept me entertained throughout; so a worthwhile watch despite my initial misgivings. :D

  13. When I went for a walk this morning, I came across graves. I haven't seen them in years.
They are in the woods on our property.
They are stone and old, and no one knows exactly how old or who's buried there.
    There's like 5 of them.
    They were just always...there.

That sounds like it would be more appropriate for Halloween. Creepy sounding, though! :hushed:

This is my first experience of the mint ones too.. They are very good. I have always loved the original ones but mint chocolate is so nice.

Graves are so solemn and spiritual. I'm not a goth person, but I like the way that graves remind me that we all must end and when we do we're not totally forgotten but rather our memory lives on in some way. It's poetic justice. Cool post! :)

My parents used to put out Andes when I was growing up, so mint candy on Christmas is familiar to me. But I haven't had those before.

So we had a traditional Puerto Rican Christmas Dinner at my son's house last night.

Pasteles de Yuca | A Puerto Rican Christmas Tradition

    Pernil (Pork Roast)

Arroz Con Gandules (Rice and Pigeon Peas)

Pateles de Yuca (Yuca Wrap with Pork Filling)

    and

    Flan for desert

My daughter-in-law is an excellent cook and she put so much work into the meal! I wish I had another plate to eat right now.

That's really cool. Has anyone ever tried to find out their history?

  20. I'm thinking yule party ;)

It doesn't have that creepy vibe at all.

  21. My dad says he wanted to dig them out years ago, but my grandparents (then owners) wouldn't allow it, and he didn't insist.
Something about not disturbing the dead.
My dad then talked to a priest, who was also game. But nope.
Some have no markings, and some have a cross or two engraved in stone.

I reminded my dad now, and got him all interested again :D
