i just had a question for the older people (25+not saying that that's old ) who did lsd when they were about my age (16) and have done it recently as well, does the impact change with age (not considering experience)? assuming it does, is it a more revealing experience rather than just a head trip? (i'm thinking about maturity when i ask this) and/or is it more a trip? hope this question makes sense
I first did acid when I was about 17..I thought it was a great adventure, headtip, and escape from reality/sharpening of reality....I really enjoyed all of this through my early 20's. The last time i did it I was maybe 27 and it was fun in a sense, but also a bit trying. I think I am not looking for this type of enlightenment anymore. It took a long time to recover, and I didn't enjoy the alienation from society very much...I think many people want something to make them feel more, not less, comfortable with life and their role once the late teens/early 20's thing passes.
I've done about 40 or so trips years ago and enjoyed every minute of it, although you do have to be a strong minded person to handle them, especially if you drop really powerful ones. A mate of mine scared the hell out of me and his true colours showed when a group of us were tripping. He lost the plot and more or less cowered in the corner and kept hiding behind me and avoiding any social interaction. I've done my time with Acid and have no intention to have anymore. I got all I could out of them and don't think it would be that enjoyable if I did it again. I just can't see any point in getting so dazed out like that anymore. The Acid comedown seriously out- weighs the high. But when your young with lots of free time it's easy to get over and doss about until you feel normal.
