Aww man, it's raining again.....FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!

 

Speaking of death, it's got to be close to a year since *Doc* has passed.

 

Over a year.

 

I'm having a complete wreck of a day. Got nothing done but play here. Solitary and not finding the real communication I want in my life.

3 hardware stores later and there is no sand or a quick dam thingamajig to be found

But i did get beer and spent my weekly grocery budget on 2 days worth of hurricane snacks
So if my den floods who cares, at least i will be drunk and well fed

 

I hate it when they are out of thingsmajigs.

 

I'm aware you have this hurricane over there. I've heard of five deaths so far. I hope everyone remains safe and of course injuries are kept as low as possible. My petty problems seem trite compared to this. We're expecting 80mph gales here soon but nothing like that.

everything just goes down the street until it gets into the storm drains and then drains to the creek

that creek would have to rise 25 feet before it gets to my street level

 

on the outside.. ? get some construction plastic garbage bags, fill half with water, tie them up and they will act as sand bag.

 

Him and Spicey Cat were probably the two Hipforumers I knew best in real life offline.

 

Everything just goes down the street here too. But the outside door into my den just happens to be at the end of the street

It's a beautiful, bright, and sunny day here.

It was good to get out to Walmart for the pet haul.

I got my air conditioners working somewhat better.

Yesterday the temp in here was down to 85F from 87F the day before.

Today, I've got it down to 83F inside.

 

Yup but i have beer!
