marinol for a manicdepressive in NY

yes im 15 , yes i live in new york
reason for needing marinol:
well i am a frequent user of marijuana
in fact its a medication sometimes more than a recreational drug
it helps me with my manic depression , anxiety , boredom.
now what im asking is
is it legal in NY
can you get it for my reasons
( yes i know there would be some persuading)
and also i read on the website
to not smoke marijuana and use marinol ( espeically not at the same time)
because of such thing as a dranobinal overdose ( spelling?)
i dont see how that can be true though..
since its impossible to od from marijuana
but the symptons they said for a mild od
was red eyes and other symptoms of smoking weed
and thena moderate od was urinary problems , mood changes
but this is just more symptoms of smoking ...
so anyway give me your ideas and opinions and facts

Marinol is legal in all 50 states.

However, it is not FDA approved for any purpose other than reducing nausea in chemotherapy patients, and stimulating appetite in AIDS patients.

You would need to find a doctor willing to prescribe a "controversial" drug for a so-called "off-label" use. With most docs running scared from the DEA, I would guess you have no chance in hell of this happening...

though seriously there is no disease manic 'boredom' thats just being a teenager

 

yes i did stoner bill . i dont think marijuana would give anyone problems like that.
