Do you visit your town’s library?

i could see your point if libraries were still just about books. but in reality, most of them are kind of moving away from books anyway, and are more about providing internet access to people who wouldn't have that access otherwise. sort of like they used to be with books i suppose, but for the 21st century.

 

I used to go to the library for the longest time after it became unfashionable or whatever. Recently they've been trying to get young people to come by getting a 3D printer and letting people come in and print out designs for free. I checked it out once. Now I mostly use the virtual library for ebooks.

 

There's always the sexy librarian angle

 

^I've only seen one sexy librarian in my life and it was a guy.

 

Oh yeah that just made me think of one of the sexiest men i've ever seen in person, and he was a librarian. So hot. He looked like a Greek hero.
I may need to go check out some books today, wonder if he still works there

 

does breaking in and stealing the photo copier money count as a visit?

or do I gotta steal a book too?

My local library is open but with shortened hours.

 

i go to my library every weekend. i go there to use the internet.

 

Oh yes, I love the library. Never got into the whole electronic reading thing. Gimme physical books any day. Plus, free movies, music, news, community events...libraries offer a lot.

 

not as often as i would like. 'my' town, fails to make it easy nor convenient to do so.
