the natural sugars in fruit are actually worse for some medical conditions, though still not as bad for most people as most of the sugar substitutes.
(which more and more appear anything and everything store bought prepared and prepackaged)

Thank you! Yep, sort of started last week, but officially today. I'm working from home, so everything is done remotely. Hope you're doing well. :)

Yeah I know but I'll take my chances with a piece of fruit now and again. I don't want to live for ever anyway. Give me another twenty years and I'll review the situation from that point.

i'm kind of in the same place, except i wouln't mind living forever. i just don't expect to in the physical definician of life sense. well i don't expect anything, or try not to.
i just mentioned that in passing.

i'm not promoting or opposing anything, just mentioning a point some or a lot of people might not be aware of.

my dad liked fruit, but was told by his doctors he had to cut down on it.

myself i find chocklet mostly agrees with my stomic more.
whether this means it may or may not be better or as good for my individual self, is anyone's guess.

actually soup stocks from meat of some kind, with a little lemon, no sugar, and as little salt or other halides as possible,
agree with my stomic more then anything sweet or sweetened.

but again no idea if this is really and indication of being better, worse or anything for me.

most vegitables i'm ok with, though i just recently discoverd that too much stewed bell peppers can make me sick too.
just as too much tomatoes too often give me terrible muscle cramp back aches.

I've been watching that all day... It's just barely hitting now.

Was able to get the trimming done and mow the side yard in the meantime.

if it can be considered working if you are producing something without getting or asking to be paid for it,
i like to think of some of what i do on the computer as working from home too.

You would think. lol But, there are red flags, here. Just communications disconnects, constantly. Not with me, but I observe how there are a lot of disconnects between some in management. It should be a dream job, but there's always something that will never let it be so. So the moral of the story is?? There's dysfunction everywhere you go. :D I left dysfunction, for a different kind.

When do you start yours? By the way, I love your hair style ...going short like that. I saw a movie recently called Coffee Shop? I think that was the name of it, and the main character had that hair style ...super cute.

Hopefully you'll at least have a couple of good years before the dysfunction starts to really get under your skin. That sucks though, maybe working from home will remove you from it a bit at least

I started today, I like it so far. Everyone seems really nice and laid back. Management at my last job was overbearing and micromanaged everything and its the exact opposite here which is nice

Thanks for the compliment on my hair :) still hasnt quite grown on me yet

I'm doing some laundry waiting to cook for myself a little later. I talked hubby into cooking for himself since he wanted to eat earlier than me.

I just finished cooking flour tortillas using spray oil and a small cup with salt and pepper mixed together in it. I used a flat pancake square pan, heated it till water danced on the surface. Then I hit it with the spray oil, then a pinch of salt and pepper, then tossed the tortilla onto the pan.

Before I turn it I hit it again with oil, salt and pepper, then it gets flipped.
I go back and forth several times.

It's so simple it's stupid. And yet, the whole family fkin LOVES my tortillas (or they're making fun of me, the fossil that I am).

I use butter and the cast iron skillet. I turn mine over and over until it's got lots of nice toasty spots on both sides.

I think my son's dogs are the only dogs I know that don't like playing ball.

Emma use to belong to my son and she doesn't play with a ball. His little Chihuahua doesn't care about a ball either.

Also, this is the haircut I was kind of going for on hubby.

All I had to eat today was three vegetarian sausages and a jar of pickled beetroot. The beetroot was delicious. I'm doing this to lose weight from my stomach. I'm not fat but I have a bit of a paunch. I also think it's a way of having a sense of control. I feel a bit weak but I'm okay. I will have porridge in the morning.

Howdy folks. Been busy as fuck here on this farm. Had another lamb die. When I found the poor fucker he'd done shit himself all up & was long gone. Even still had him some grass in his mouth like he just stopped & keeled over.

On a less somber note we're gonna be gettin' in 150 new chicks on friday. You believe they mail them suckers? Soon as they're born they pack 'em up & ship 'em off. Apparently newborn chicks can go at least 3 days without food or water.
