Why Did Native Americans Practice Slavery?

Slavery is not ok in any form but see wat u said they did it to their own that's their problem wasn't effecting no other race they didn't go grab a couple whites overseas and say hey let's enslave them

I'm black I don't need anyone telling me how bad slavery is I got ancestors that reminds me every day my point to that guy who was trying to basically say it's no big deal that African Americans were slaves cuz they enslaved eachother I don't c that as a reason for other races to get the green light to do it that was my point he was trying to justify our slavery by whites by indicating that we enslaved our own

I suggest you look up the Barbary Slave Trade

 

Vikings enslaved other white people.

The word slave itself even comes from a mainly caucasian group of people.

 

And you're trying to make the white race responsible for slavery. They were brokered to the Europeans by black slave brokers. I suggest you go to the African American museum in DC sometime. They cover this "complicating" aspect of European Slave trade with Africa. There were a few African tribal leaders that got VERY VERY rich by selling black slaves.

Slavery has been around long before the American chapter of it.

I think it's safe to say the African American experience in regards to slavery is much different than that shared by those of us descended from people who were enslaved on other continents thousands of years ago.
