I didn't hear anything about it on the news at all. I don't know why people risk thier lives doing foolish things like that. It didn't change his mind I bet.

Fruit salad made.....and I put more pineapple in this one........and less peaches.....lol....I will be eating this fruit salad also....

not that I did not eat the last one...and liked that one, too....It was a hit...and my neighbor lady hostess person came over to me twice and told me she had two bowels if it, and that she was happy to have a lot of it...to have for the rest of the week.

Last July 4th..I made a ton of tuna noodle salad with miracle whip....and she really does not eat that, and I did not know that...so i wanted to please her this time...being she was the one that does all of the work and things...and I did...:)

dammit...the sun came out and it has stopped raining.

Of course, it did.....It won't rain again...until after I get back from having to go out there to do 4 or 5 miles...The dogs only get about half a mile each in this...and get to sit in an air conditoned car....with Stan......as he chats on his phone or whatever...but I have OCD with this,....the only thing I have OCD about...I must do 4-5 miles every day.....

No wonder I was close to heat stroke yesterday.

Went to the gym, babysat, returned baby (toddler), yakked with the neighbor, loaded two mattresses and box springs into the van, rearranged furniture, now sitting down.

I tried with the laundry drier...Saw the metal piece that needed to be taken off to get to the coils...asked Stan for help....Nah, he is not a fix it man like that at all...what if we do something wrong and start a fire type of logic...so he called our appliance fix it man...who came over yesterday and fixed the drier.....the coil in the back was completely broken...2 of them....got a a whole new plate of coils...Drier should last another 10 years now.

    Long time ago
    In some brain cells
    ....... far far away

I pondered becoming a fix it/ handy man. I didn't follow through because I didn't want to take on a new job or make it an additional job.

I liked my 8 hour a day job and then go home and be with family.
Those fix it guys almost all of the time keep going till the job is done. Or at least if a job is 6 or 7 hours to complete and runs over due to unexpected turn of events, they usually have to stay and finish it even if it ran into 9 or 10 hours.

I had a furnace guy come over at 3pm. The computer board went on it. He stayed til 5pm. I asked him, when does he usually get done.... he said 4ish. Ugh...
That's what I'm talking about. I'm in a job where 8 hours and I'm gone home...

I don't anymore at all (except for watching an occasional dvd or Blu Ray)
    Or
Watching Orison's YouTube vids. (Those are a must see)

I haven't watched any TV going on about 4 weeks now. None. I have no idea what's going on in the world. None.

And I love myself for it.....

I can understand that. I am under the impression that you can fix just about anything? That would be an amazing thing.......
Some people work for certain companies...like our appliance fix it man...works for an appliance company and he is excellent....He has been here before......and is reliable and excellent.....
Other fix it people go into business for themselves and probably make their own hours?

I just think it is great to be able to be that skilled at fixing things.....

Wow...animal kingdom here today...Not too long ago I heard screaming and thought it was a loud bird outside and thought..."What in the hell bird makes that loud noise?!"

I look down and there is Finney cat with a baby rabbit in his mouth bringing it to me...not injured but scared and terrified. Finney never kills anything.....just catches them gently to bring to me.... i had heard rabbits can scream....never quite heard it before, though.....Of course, I rescued the sweet, gentle baby rabbit.....and brought it back outside and it scurried away into the deep grasses....where I have seen bigger rabbits lately. i wonder if the baby still needs its mother and will find her. Baby rabbit was so sweeet...of course, cats are in now...and door closed, so they will not be going out anymore today....mainly Finney....as Minxy does not hunt with no teeth and Gray Gray does not go out at all....

Funny thing is....Finney looked confused....like trying to say to me..."Why are you angry at me again? I thought you would be pleased...:"......

and a few minutes ago...i watched a baby deer walk by the property right in front of my window here.........so sweeeet, too...Bambi just visited!

    It's very close.
I'm not good at cars newer that 2003ish just too much crammed into the engine compartment, wires all over the place. Need an ohmsmeter for everything and a $3k code reader too. I think Spiff has a good one , and im sure it costed alot. Vehicles are getting impossible for me to fix anyway. I gave up over a decade ago. I do some undercoating, which is pretty easy. Time consuming but easy.

As far as other stuff in the home. I do everything custom and as perfect as I can. Electrical, security, carpentry, plumbing, motorcycle building, hvac, windows, doors, siding, flooring, bathrooms, kitchens. Misty always joked about how I do stuff. She'd say "Mountains out of mole hills...Pete "

I'd be fired my second, third, or definitely the fourth day of working for a handyman firm. A 3hour job would take me 8hours to complete. I'd want it to be perfect in everyway. I'd be costing the boss thousands by the week..
    Your Fired! [IMG]

My brain works in weird ways. I can look at a project and my brain takes over and tells me how to do it, make it custom, make it special and add a wow factor to it.

One thing I wish i could do....
I'll put in your... I Wish......
    Thread little Moon's......
