What's Happening???

Or at least that's what they said to me. Somewhere in their paperwork I'm sure the word "hopeless" exists... in big red letters... with an exclamation point or two.

 

I like my shrink for the most part but I can tell he's getting kickbacks from the drug companies. He was a little pissy when I asked for generics for my prescription drugs. He was similarly miffed when I refused to be put on Antabuse.

 

Doctors told my wife that I requested a DNR on our first child, when I did not, which lead to her entire family believing me to be a baby killer. Doctors put interns in charge of intubating our second son ,because they were too damn busy, & those same interns punctured his lung twice. Doctors gave our third son an epidural when he was breathing normally & it caused him to crash, almost killed him then & there. Doctors also ignored my & my ex wife's attempts to explain to them how our son was, how he would respond to certain stuff, etc & because of this they set his care back by months. As far as they were concerned we were just stupid civilians who couldn't possibly have any idea what we were talking about. Doctor knows best after all. These same doctors attempted to take him away from us because we weren't going to send him to school. A child who is extremely susceptible to any and all communicable diseases, who can't move on his own at all, who would die if let's say another child ripped his trach out of his throat attempting to play.

So no I do not put any stock in doctors. Now at least you know why.

It would be, except I'm living with someone who insists on keeping it at 78. Florida is one of those places where at night it gets to maybe 77 in the summer but the humidity is so bad it feels like 90, but the A.C. won't go on.

 

normally, those systems will only cool within so many degrees to what
the thermostat is set at...those systems are working HARD in the
south these days

I imagine A.C. repair companies make a killing this time of year. almost every summer our air conditioning either breaks or needs Freon or something.

 

yep they do very well and each unit only has a certain life expectancy it seems
the alternative is to move north but brutal winters aren't fun either

 

I'm texting my girlfriend at the moment, discussing our plans this weekend. I felt bad because I moved our lunch with my mom until next week because our only couple friend asked us to come over and we never see them. We're kind of hermits and we only have enough social battery for one outing per weekend lol

 

Warm and sunny here too. Slow day Going to chill in the park in an hour!

I just received the most amazing present in the post. Someone sent me an A.C. unit. Great because it's sizzling hot here.

Well yeah it was apparently but I've been very generous to him in the past. We have a mutual cause and always help each other out.

 

It may be time for another A/C unit
