What I don't get about that is I checked the weather an hour before the storm started. Was supposed to start in 4 hours, cool, I'll get started on some mulching. An hour later, BOOM! drench! Fuck...

With all the equipment these guys have, how can they not know how fast a line of thunderstorms is moving?

Okay, hubby's dinner choices are in the crock pots - Chicken thighs and stewed cabbage.

We like a late dinner.

 

Well another long day done. Got some squash squared away, then harvested the garlic rest of the day. Everybody else called her quits at 7 but there was only half a row left to go so I finished it up. Also treated the goat with her meds again chasing her round the paddock was entertaining. Now I'm gonna sit down to a cold one & rub the ache outta these here feet.

 

Tell me about it my phone tells weather a week in advance but I'm learning to just trust my eyes & ears over the damn forecast. Heavy storm here lasted from 11-4. Had to work regardless

 

That wouldn't work if they can't get an hour in advance correct.

 

Had to be the junk yard dog at work today. Ended up poaching some clients from a competitor. Within two minutes of getting a verbal agreement, I went to bat for them. They were impressed.

I've got pool today, I haven't practiced since Sunday.. But I'm looking forward to going out and playing, see if I'veearned anything over the weekend. It's always the best to get in a game and then have an opportunity to play a shot you have been practicing. Happened last week I was practicing weight off cushions and I had an opportunity to do this in a real match and I didn't have to at all as I'd have easily potted the 8 but I went for the perfect leave and I pretty much got it give or take an inch. And that was inspiring because that's what I was training.

 

I'm doing another all-nighter. Seems like it's one night's sleep and the next awake. I can't do much because the sound insulation here is very bad. So I'm here wasting Hip Forums paper to pass the time till dawn. I would love to get a place in Edinburgh but it's still not practical yet. I don't know what I'm doing. There's the possibility of a flat in London, and I just want my own kitchen so badly.

 

Speaking of kitchens, I've put off cleaning mine after late dinner. I should go do that now because I still have to take care of the litter boxes tonight too.

 

My kitchen is immaculate with two exceptions, the oven and the inside of the microwave, out of sight, out of mind

 

We want to paint the house soon so we are in process of getting some new bedroom furniture I'm going to bust my old dresser to kindle for the fire drum and then that'll open up out room some more. I think on Saturday we will look at the dresser draws. I'm looking at one with 4 longer ones stacked up and then two separate ones on top, all in one piece though.
