What's Happening?

You can't just assume robot genders.

 

I only have the daughter-in-law's story at this point so I'd rather wait until I can talk to my daughter about it before I put a story out there.

 

why would robots have genders? or even imitate organic forms? other then pet ones to play with, like anamatronic plushies.

My daughter in law is not a answering my messages even though I can tell that she's read them...like she's not speaking to me.

I need to know what is going on with my daughter.

 

Work --->hospital---->home to hopefully seemy son a minute before bedtime --->study--->sleep a few hours --->repeat

My daughter went for her pre-trial today. The website says her bond is $2,500.

I have not had a call from her all day.

Her soon-to-be-ex-wife told me that the court called her today explaining the terms of the restraining order to her.

Yesterday, she told me to come get $500 cash, and a check she would write for my daughter, my daughter's dog, her car, and her necessary belongings.

Today, she told me that she is holding no money that belongs to my daughter and that she will not release any of my daughter's property to anyone but my daughter in the presence of a police officer, and that everything she "gives" my daughter will be documented for her lawyer.

Supposedly, according to the s-t-b-e-d-i-l, my daughter has an account, separate from their joint account, that has my grandson's child support in it. She says my daughter will have to try to use that money to get herself out of jail.

I don't know what amount of money might or might not be in that account.

I just know that she will not even let me come get my daughter's dog, so the dog is sitting up there missing my daughter and my grandson because he is with his ball coach and family until Sunday.

I hope my daughter is out of jail by Sunday so that she can get her son from the ball coach; otherwise, I hope the s-t-b-e-d-i-l will put me in touch with the ball coach so I can bring him home with me because his father lives in another state.

 

they went away leaving shit on memorial day, had a rip party last night, going to slayer on saturday. hum I wonder when the grass will actually get cut and the trash taken out.

 

I am in a bit of a conundrum.

My boss has spoke to a construction company that does maintenance for us and he, without my knowledge, organised a meeting between their boss and me and I've basically been given the opportunity to work for this company doing contract administration. So I was taken back because I had no idea what was happening and I said I haven't even done that work I don't even know what that is. They said it was all okay because they'd looked at my admin work and think I'd be a good fit in their small team.

They started talking figures and I jumped in and said well I don't even get paid in my job atm, you know, I'm here outing the kindness of my heart, plus the horse stable.

And they said "we can do A LOT better than that. So then I said you know, I'm not an 8hr at work type of person either. And they said that's fine because we've heard all about you through your boss and the majority of the work can be done at home.

So they spilled it all out and basically I'll be working part time hours for full time benefits. And then it hit me. Remember a while ago my boss put me on that management and administration course? Well he obviously had something in mind.

The good news is since it's all still very local and my boss and this firm are good friends, I can still help out my current job etc.

So I said okay, we are talking over beers here, which we were, so I said if you guys are serious, then let me know and I can put something together on my resume. I went home and I was feeling good about it, then the booze wore off and I started getting anxious and I fell asleep and I wake up few hours now and I feel like, if they give me this opportunity I should take it because contract admin pays a fucken ton and if I ever really needed the work I could get it easy with what they're going to teach me and they also talked about training courses for me like safety and high risk stuff as I'd need to go on site and weigh up jobs.

So yeah. That was my aftdrnoon/evening. Kind of a shock shell state atm. I'm not sure what to think.

Folks, I think about chiming in all the time but I never know what to say. Life's pretty boring. My highlight of the day is that I bought a new old-style Smashing Pumpkins tshirt (the Zero logo). That's like the most exciting in a week! ha!

Actually, we bought a new a/c for one of the upstairs room. Hopefully the installation goes well and we don't short a breaker. Yeah, kinda had issues with our plug in heater last winter. Hopefully we can get this figured out and get it all working.
Guess that was exciting. Yep. Shit like that. (not REALLY exciting, but something to talk about)

Had dentist last week. Pretty much some kind of doctor's appointment every week now, although I canceled tomorrow's. Fun days!

P.s. I added some photos. Oh! and I dug out my knit and crochet stuff again after about a year. Getting back into that, but simple stuff. No thinking.

Yeah I just know my weaknesses and a weakness of mine is I don't like change when I'm already kind of settled? So it does concern and make me anxious. But it sounds all good because my boss now has already said exactly what I do and things. But right now, I'm keen to. I think.

 

I hope you find some answers @Aerianne - it just sucks that all that happened.

My update - I had a pretty good day. I’ve forgiven my husband. It’s weird someone can apologize a million times, but you have to choose forgiveness.
