Another one post wonder who lasted less than a day LOL.

 

Amazing how many of those there seem to be. I've taken a couple years off when life got too busy but I've always found my way back

 

Good to see you back, Like anyone who is serious, you are joining in the threads and getting to know people who do not go back as far as your previous account.
95% of new members who post an "I am new" thread and never bother to join in with anything else, never seem to last more than a few days. I always wonder what happens on their first day in a new job.

 

Yeah well at least in this cat's case there was seemingly only one thing on his mind and it wasn't chillin' with people here

 

I think because most of those people are looking for potential hook ups on here and they realize it’s not that kind of site.

 

Not even an hour, I think. He said he was leaving, at least he was cool enough to do that. Most people post some shit and you never hear from them again. Eventhough he said he was leaving, here we are again, on forum autopilot.

That cracks me the hell up as soon as I start reading it; "Hello, I am new here....." Then it goes into something wacky, sometimes. Can't stop laughing.

I simply consider joining a forum such as HF as similar to my first day at a new job. where I would hardly not bother to get to know anyone and then stand up in the canteen at lunchtime and make a public announcement about some bizarre sexual fantasy. LOL

 

that's still better than starting your new job by hiding in the corner not saying a word, and leaving poorly spelled notes in people's mailboxes propositioning them for sex, without even bothering to learn their gender first.

I agree with you on that one fully.

I imagine that with your profile picture, you may have fallen victim to that sort of thing here from a few of our new (or multiple account) members, but I doubt that it has actually happened to you at work.

I am just someone who treats people online the same way that I would treat them in everyday life.

 

i've had some pretty obnoxious PMs. for some reason, they aren't coming as often as they used to though, which is very nice.

and yeah, i've had some strange things appear in my mailbox at work, but nothing like described above.
