I was brought up on Italian Wedding soup as it was always served at Italian weddings. This was back in the day when the women made all the food for the weddings. Minestra maritata means married soup and refers to the marriage of three flavors, greens, orzo, and meatballs in a chicken broth. It didn't appear in cans until recently. Here's a source for gluten free orzo, it's rice and corn/rice based but still orzo. You can get recipes on the net. DeLallo Gluten-Free Pasta Corn & Rice George DeLallo was an old family friend and grew up with my parents. My father used to pick up supplies for his first store and they were very close. Unfortunately he died many years ago and only his son is left. But this is the place to go for Italian food. I'd pick up a bag of this stuff for you but I'd have to mail it anyway! If your interested look at the video. In the first group shot the guy on the left holding his hat is "Dutchie" another family friend. I still remember Georgie coming with his truck loaded with Italian food talking my dad into driving to New York city or Wisconsin to pick up supplies.
Worked Thursday night. Stayed up Friday so I could go to bed early on Friday night to wake up early Saturday (today). Never did make it to that beer release, though. The line was just too crazy.
Thanks for pointing that out, and yes I looked at it, and agree and only use sea salt, when I use any salt....my mom was way ahead of her time always and knew all of these things years ago. Problem is, I seem to have developed an aversion to salt now....as I went on that sea salt fast last year...Drinking so much water with tablespoons of sea salt in it....as the Master Cleanser theory...so many theories out there about everything...i won't be doing that Cleansing diet again.... I saw your epson salt thing, too, about getting rid of stones.....interesting.....but I can't even try it...as what would that do to me in the long run? I have no proof of anything,. For me, the proof I have for anything is how I feel.
well you are a clever girl then if you already take sea salt instead of table salt, i have just figured it out 2 years ago....and to my surprise other users here too only use sea salt instead of table salt which is great by the way there is a great intestinal cleanse you can do every blue moon with sea salt: in the morning on an empty stomach put sea salt in 3 cups of warm water and drink at once. It will flush, cleanse your intestines very well. you will run to the toilet for extra long sessions and empty pounds of waste afterwards you will feel great, it also makes your belly more flat , inward instantly , because of all the old "things" flushed out. regarding epsom salt ; yes it really works. i love it myself. it is proven to dilate the bile ducts of the liver and the gallblader, that is why if you ever happen to get a gallstone-attack take epsom salt and it will imediately go away (slip off) it also acts like a diarretic? meaning it cleanses the intestines when taking on an empty stomach. But unlike sea salt, it does not have all the minerals and does not taste good either. it is only taken for intestinal cleanses. You say you go after "how it makes me feel" . which is the way to go. you will feel great afterwards. it is something i cant describe in words. but we can talk about that.... cheers, david
David,,,Yes, drinking the salt water is in the master cleansing diet by Stanley Burroughs who it originated with.....Ever try drinking a quart of warm salt water........vomit.....lol I don't think humans are intended to do that. Link to Master cleansing diet...I did it last year and the year before, and now here I sit with celiac disease or something or other....Celiac is an autoimmune disease that gluten brings on. The Master Cleanser by Stanley Burroughs
or maybe it was the mildewed , moldy books I worked with all summer trying to get rid of...the mold that is... or combination of both.
I would not call me clever, but I am aware....My mom was pretty clever, though.... Anyway, here is a vid that you must see, although you probably know all of this already. Why the hell is the USA still allowing this shit? We are just disposable numbers...i know.
I have a creek In my backyard. I build rock walls in the creek to amplify the sound of moving water. It’s so peaceful. My neighbor on the other side of the creek built a fence along the shore. I don’t know why they’d do that. Creeks are the best, and I feel so blessed to have one. So why anyone would block off something so wonderful is beyond me. Oh well. With the fence being on his side, it’s more privacy for me

I am worried about this sweet and very scared female dog that doesn't seem to have a home and has somewhat taken up here. She won't let me come within 20 feet of her before she is running down the road!!! A lot of don't-give-a-shit-drivers on this road in front of my house. God have mercy. She runs with her tail tucked between her legs - as fast as the dang wind too! She has been sleeping on the mat/padded throw I have on the porch/stoop for her. I fed her twice today...at a distance I saw her eat the food I put at the end of the sidewalk. I think she is a boxer mix. What do y'all think?
Not a breed specialist. But she's sporting a heavy duty collar so she must belong to somebody. Wonder who's looking for her? Or it could'a been a piece of shit who abandons their animals. On the cannabis farm where I sometimes work, the land owners said they encountered an abandoned horse on their property many years ago. People abandon animals out in the forest to be found by these homesteaders.
Poor baby Some sort of pit mix maybe. Her head looks like a pit but her body isnt as muscular as one. That's weird she's so scared, dogs are usually trusting unless they've been mistreated. Maybe she'll warm up to you and come to you after a few more days of feeding. If you could get her to trust you and you couldnt find an owner, would you keep her?
