chores today

 

This young man I got to clean the gutters and blow off the roof last year gave me no problems. I know the family and last year a time was set and he came and everything was fine as wine.

WELL, this year I got his sister (that I've known for years) to ask him about doing this for me - same as last year. And my dear GOD...it has turned into a dang hot mess.

Last night at 8:30 AT DARK NIGHT he finally arrived with his brother-in-law (because his brother-in-law is the one with the heavy duty ladder and leaf blower) and wanted to do it then because he had "flash lights he could set up". mercy

What the actual hell is going on here, Joe Blow!??? I ask him. I further continued to be an old lady and tell him that blowing off the roof and cleaning the gutters should be done IN THE DAY!!!...that I am here really all the time and IF they could just let me know a dang time even in the event I had something planned I would change my plans! They left the ladder and leaf blower....for today sometime.

Is this unreasonable???

Well this morning I start getting texts from my roof/gutter cleaner whom I will be referring to as booger boy. smh He texted me at 7:15. SEVEN FIFTEEN AM and just now, this moment as I started this sentence he said/asked would 10:00 (am) be ok...

well hell booger boy it was fine for you to come at 7:15 so yeah...if you can booger on down here at 10am and get this done without falling off my roof it'll be fine. Damnation I hate he has become a booger...but I've seen too many things not to recognize 'em when I see 'em.

 

No more roof and gutter cleaning for booger boy. smh

you sound very upset y what exactly?......no one forced you to answer your text at 715....which isn't all that early for a work day....its only ''a tad'' early....what is your beef with the sister?...you didn't explain

I just cleaned the woodstove....now outside to do the pipe to the roof so I can light a damned fire and shut off my furnace

 

lol there is no beef with the sister...I didn't realize I implied there was. I only mentioned her because that was how I got in touch with booger boy...I've worked with both Booger Boy's mother and sister.

Booger's mother is a friend of mine...and nobody to play with...she would be the one person I'd want to have my back in the event there was a "confrontation" in fact. That being said - IF her booger son were allowed to get up on my roof at dark night and fall off she would rip my head off and kill me, probably with no trouble.

My molehill mountain is and was merely that he texted me 15 times saying he was going to do this and then wound up wanting to do it at dark night, which I find to be one of the most foolish things ever.

I only added in how he started texting at 7:15 (which I had no problem with) saying he was coming real soon...was that ok? lol

They just pulled up.
