You guys are still pissing and moaning Day in and day out about the same ol shit. Trump won the election and is doing one hell of a job. Get over it.!! Haha you poor bastards....

 

Well people, it has started. For months Trump & CO have been saying they will cut Medicaid for the poor. Now they are instituting a plan to deny medical services to the poor, if they don't work. The poor who do get help will be sent the bill, if they don't work. Immediately, we are getting reports of hospitals "patient dumping" the poor and disabled out on the sidewalks. Last night a University Hospital in Baltimore dumped an elderly woman out on the sidewalk next to a bus stop, in the middle of the night, in freezing cold weather. When a passerby stopped to ask her if she needed help, she wasn't able to speak, as if she had signs of a stroke. This should be at the top of the Trump score board.

 

The hell they do! First of all am I in that country legally, doing legal activities? How has it become to provide equal protection to all, when some of all are illegal in the first place? Secondly if I am there legally, I know from first hand experience I get treated differently than the citizens that live there. In some cases better, in some cases worse, but by no means equal in many cases. If I am in Saudi Arabia and I talk to a woman I am not married to, I may get asked to leave the country. If I was a citizen, it would be far worse consequences. If I was in India and came to the aide of a woman that was being exploited, I'd be in trouble. I lived in Europe for years. They hate Americans in some parts there. It was evident I wasn't going to be happy if I got into a rub there. Try going to some foreign countries and then comment.

All the Libs seem to be leaving out one key aspect of the DACA debate. Anyone being affected has always had legal pathways to citizenship that they are not being denied access to. What also is left out of this week news cycle, is that this is what was supposed to happen when the so called DREAMER laws were passed. Since they didn't go about obtaining LEGAL pathways, the previous administration made DACA a TEMPORARY way to keep them here (and oh by the way lets allow them to vote if we can). What about illegal and temporary don't we understand? If these kids are going to be productive, pay taxes, and live up to the standards expected, they should be happy and thrilled to pursue a legal path to becoming an American.

Many on Medicaid are employed now. So it isn't like he is suggesting that if you aren't working you can't get aid. What he is saying is, if you are able to work, and aren't in school etc. you should not be drawing Medicaid assistance. Several states already feel this way. In many states if you are able bodied, not in school, or have some other valid reason (single mom raising kids), you can't draw welfare or Medicaid assistance. I support that notion very much. I'm not opposed to helping those in need due to bad circumstances. But bad circumstances aren't, because they can do better by not working and drawing on social programs simply because they can get by by doing so. Make a recipient that is able bodied and between jobs provide at the least community services in much needed understaffed social programs. Make it a temporary timeframe. In this job market nobody should be unemployed very long. So make the benefits reflect the current job markets. Say 6 months as a GAP between jobs.

Not a chosen way of living in definitely.

 

Republicanism is a mental disorder. Just listen to Trump talk about poor and disabled American people. Just listen to him talk about a way of life where poor people need their government. Just listen to him say there was no collusion when Mueller found Trump received hundreds of millions of Russian money through a German bank. Just listen to Trump say he will not sit for an interview with government investigators, because he does not want the government to interfere in his life. Well, a mandatory interview is also called a CRIMINAL INTERROGATION.

I saw that on Rachel's show last night. It sure looks like Mueller's got the goods to put them organized crime crooks in the pokie. Mueller can make a case for money laundering and obstruction any day now. I wonder how Manafort will like Big Alonzo for his cell mate?
