I crochet.

I might look into crocheting a Winter hat.

 

About 24ish years ago, my father let us kids play with his antique glass butter churner. Just like the one pictured here:




We used to take colored construction paper and cut it out into little fish shapes, fill the churn up with water and spin the wheel. The rotor would spin the fish round and round like they were actually swimming. It was so much fun.


But one day, I was a complete idiot and decided to fill it up with large stone marbles. Of course I put a huge hole in the glass, destroying the churner forever.

I'll never forget how angry he was at me. My siblings were pissed with me too.

Then today at the antique store, I found one almost exactly like the one I broke!

I'm sure he'll be glad to have it replaced after all these years this Christmas.

this idiot cut thru my lot and caught himself up on tension wire. good for him.. I missed the jist of it, but came home as the tow truck was prying their car off the wire. pisses me off when someone cuts thru my grassy lots, its not a turn around..

 

Reminds me of a great story about a guy stealing from work. Got no time to tell it though.


About to play hockey. Having a drink before I go in. I have about 25 minutes before the ice is ready.
Half of that time will be getting my skates on.



Oh yeah and star wars was awesome. Even better because I havnt seen any spoilers. No interviews no trailers....nothing. So everything was a surprise.

 

I'm watching episode 8 right now. I'm behind and I don't care.

My motivation is to protect my dog and myself from the repeated behavior by these idiot neighbors. I am still caring for the bites around my dogs' eye and my finger is still sore and swollen from being bruised and hyper-extended.

In case you don't realize it, I'm nearly 58 years old and disabled. My dog is 11 years old.

If you don't understand that then I think you have a comprehension problem.

Nov. 29th
I had to call the police and animal control out tonight.

The shitty neighbor let her dog out on me while I was walking my dog, on leash, on my son's property.

The dog's fought but I never let go of my dog.

She has a puncture wound above her eye.

The neighbor received a citation from animal control.
They called a gang of two other neighbor families over to talk crap about me to the police and animal control. I have no dealings with those people. They don't even know me but they were all acting like they did.

They told the officer that a few weeks ago I had threatened a 10 year old girl by shaking my cane at her. Um, I only had the cane out today. Before the police got there, they were yelling at me that they were going to get the little girl and have her tell the police how my husband had done that (which he hadn't.) We take care of those two little girls when they are walking home from the bus alone.

Animal Control didn't witness it so now I have to go to court as their witness. After the police left, they started mocking me, making fun of me being on a cane, being old, being white. The 22 year old even stood across the street from me and made gun shooting sounds at me. I called the police back out and he said they'd broken no laws but he'd go talk to them about it.

My damn finger is bruised from holding the leash. It hurts to move it.
