I got a collection of old pony beads from work, and I ended up making such a colourful curtain... I so love it... has anyone else made their own curtains?

I saw some curtains in the film The Talented Mr. Ripley that were made from bottle caps... basically, they bent the cap around some rope, so it made a sort of long bead.

I have a huge coffee can full of caps, and I've been poking away at a project like that. It takes a bit of time, tho... each string takes around two hours to bend all the caps on.

You can also leave the caps flat, poke holes at the top & bottom, and string them together with eye pins.
