I just took notice of a dutch guy named Bengt... which is indeed pronounced as banged. Curious choice
An even more occurring name these days here is Bent. I guess some dutch parents are still pretty basic where it comes to the english language

 

The white co workers are basic, but more of them. 4 John 5 Bill 3 David 2 Mike 1 Pete

The hardest names for me to keep straight are the black co workers. Which are not basic to me. Just to name a few.

black people around here usually have normal names like bob or bill

sometimes its weird obscure bible names but theyll go by a nickname instead

 

We have shamika, ayesha, latoya, lateisha. And Karen lol

 

I have black co worker's with names Bob, Dave, Ed and Brian. They are all 45+ in age too. All the names I mentioned earlier are all in there mid to early twenties. Hummm.

im okay today. but definitely suffering under the testosterone in my life. got into a fight with hubby over the (religious themed) conversation he had with the older boy. he spent at least an hour insisting that he didnt bring up god, until he realized that he did. ultimately, he hasnt mentioned any of last nights conversation to me today, so theres a good chance he has zero idea how pissed off i am right now. im not going to say i wasnt drinking, because, uh, yeah i was. and enough so that i woke up a little foggy-brained. but i still remember most of the conversation (however not where the rum went, oddly enough)

i know you guys love me. you are family <3
and im too stubborn to do anything dumb. spite is my life's motivation. its got to be replenished somehow.
but damnit. like this time of year is NOT the time to start an argument with me. ESPECIALLY when subject matter ties to our loss. and he probably doesnt even fucking realize it.


anyway, by way of updates. Oz is hilarious. he has a speech therapist, but she says he seems like a pretty typical late talker. he is super independent. spent the whole summer half-naked and barefoot in the backyard. tries to help me cook, plays and entertains himself. recovers after frustration. expert mess-maker. when he does talk, hes sarcastic as hell. he knows exactly how funny he is.
big kid jabbed a kid with a pencil and got suspended. so, same-old same-old there. but im not doing it again. if he gets suspended again im going to homeschool. like, he doesnt NEED human interaction badly enough to keep putting him through this crap.

OH, and i knew a pair of sisters from Africa in boot camp. their last name was nwofoh (new-faux) we called them big sister and little sister.
