I wish we Americans would use the metric system too. But like a lot of things I don't think we ever will. Because their is an attitude that the rest of the world is stupid and we need to be special. It's a slippery slope. You measure your speed in KM then the Soviot bread lines come.

i make a point to translate things to metric to try and learn the general grasp of the difference. i am genuinely bad at it, and struggle with anything larger than the closeness between a yard and a meter. im trying though, most people here will never bother. its just a footnote in math class.

Well, I mean, we have scrubbed down with Comet and or baking soda. Any cleaner really. But the wooden windowsill s get it too. I mean, any prevention techniques?

Seriously, if I wasn't already feeling so low about things but desparate for change, I'd never be admitting to these shortcomings. I suppose it doesn't reflect to well on my SO, but my SO works a LOT. I mean, even works when home too, so. Yeah. We do what we can, but shit just gets out of control. My laziness just isn't funny anymore, it that's a whole different issue. And I try. I do! It's more loss of focus than laziness. I'm sure I can't be alone here. I dunno!
