Enjoying some dried fruit a co worker gave me.

Nice care package of dried blueberries, apples, strawberries and.....for the first time ever cherries.

I ate the cherries first. As I chewed I wondered, how did he get the pitts out. Maybe he de-pitted before the dry process. Or they just come out on their own as they shriveled up. Idk, but they are good.

 

I've been dehydrated fruit in my dehydrater lately. It's fun but I find the apple goes a tad cardboard over 48hrs. Also what's weird is in retrospect I could eat a full apple in a sitting but i thinly slice them to 1mm and have a few parts, like 4% of the apple and I feel full and fat if I want more? Lol. What's the deal there??

 

Imo, Apples are loaded with antioxidants.

A green apple contains more antioxidants than berries. Apples are loaded fructose, which some people might have a tough time digesting.

So when your digestive system starts to break down all that sugar, it feels gassy—as in unbuttoning-your-pants-at-your-desk level of gassy.

Edit: so maybe when it's dried.....all the water is out and it's at a pure fructose state.

I feel some apple gas building myself as a peck. Switching over to the strawberries.

 

Hmm maybe. I know I have hard times digesting things and I know fruit and vegetable will give me tummy cramps and the bloat feeling. =[

I'm taking a few weeks off of work... anxiety and depression suck, and there aren't many therapists in this town so I've got one that I meet with over skype. Seems to be working well so far.

I'm tired of this shit and can't seem to get a handle on it this time. I don't know what triggered it, or if there even is a trigger... it sucks. Hard not to feel like it is my fault, even though I've done all of the 'right' things... medication, therapy, diet, all of that. Nothing is working. Blah.

Down in South Virginia with my mom. It's her turn to drive and waits for me to ask how much gas is left. She say oh we need to stop.

So we stop and I had to landmarks...most gas I ever put in this car in the 5 years I had it. Also the cheapest gas I have put in since I had the car.

Who knew east bumblefuck Virginia had cheap gas.
