i hope that things work out okay rolling. colorado just passed half a billion dollars in pot revenue. its going to a lot of programs that need it. potheads LOVE helping schools, and helping fight the opioid epidemic.

i have a giant round squash. i think its a mutant zucchini crossbreed, but imma eat it anyway. i didnt plant it, so im not sure what it will be like. but i am sure that it should be eaten before it gets any bigger. trying some amaranth greens in dinner tonight. leftovers will go to stuff that squash tomorrow. kielbasa, mustard greens and quinoa tonight. stuffed squash (possibly with a quiche element) tomorrow. planning dinner is cool. i have a cucumber that i will probably pick tomorrow, but i would prefer if it was a bit bigger. one of the sweet corns has some tassel bits growing. but its roaringly hot out there. my plants are very sad in the middle of the day. i have some ground cherries, super excited to try those when they are ripe (toxic when underripe, so im definitely waiting) and some tomatoes growing too. not too big yet. but they are doing okay. 2 more artichokes nearly ready to harvest, we overcooked the first one, undercooked the second. we get two more tries, lol. oh! and i ate a pea pod the other day. thats super exciting, i didnt even notice it growing, lol.

there were no leftovers from dinner last night, i will have to figure out what to stuff in that squash for tonight. been having weird dreams, most seem to involve feeling out of control/ under threat. sinkholes/ weakening buildings a couple of days ago. teotwawki last night. i am not a fan of having little/ no control. so im going to use some of that unsettled energy to cull clutter, try to find the mail we are missing. i should go out and pull weeds or spray them, but its *supposed* to rain, and its so much easier after a little rain.

 

I got some left overs. Pizza.

I screwed up another one them races lol. Coming 2nd too I forgot I had my brake bias negative and came to pit road hot at Indianapolis and I hit the anchors and I didn't have control after that. lost 6 seconds and came out cycled 5th catching 3rd/4th battling and I scrubbed the wall trying too hard and I was going to run out of fuel 4 laps to go, so, I come to pit road take 2 tyres pull the fenders and the bloody caution comes out just as the leader goes by me coming out of pits. :cuss: trapped a lap down, for back on lead lap and then came 10th lol. Which is still better than half the field. I'm just annoyed at myself.

Definitely one of the things I miss about growing up in rural New England. Blackberries (that's pronounced back-breeze) too.
