Great. NOT! Since Poughkeepsie is a town near the last house I lived in, I had to look this up at 4 am this morning and watch it, as I never heard of it before.....and it is the worst thriller I ever saw, because i thought I was watching a real documentary....and then did research to learn that it was loosely based on the serial killer Kendall Francois, who murdered 8 prostitutes in Poughkeepsie in the 90's...all found buried in the attic and crawl space of his house.. He is in Attica serving a life sentence.

But as far as the movie....talk about Stockholm Syndrome! ye gods!

Scary world and that is the definition of EVIL.

It's Casey Affleck as a private eye. He tracks down missing children. I don't remember what happened at the end, but in the middle of the movie he shoots some guy in the head for raping a small boy who had been kidnapped by cokeheads or something. It was dramatic, but I thought the movie sort of allowed Affleck to be judge jury and executioner without consequences. I don't think the cops even questioned him. Granted he discovered this little boy dead and desecrated in a bathtub in the upstairs of a coke house with the pedophile cowering nearby begging for his life and saying it was an accident. But it would have been better to have that guy arrested and tried for murder than go all vigilante on him.

So, I guess I didn't really like it for that reason. :)

A silent movie called "The White Sister" about an Italian girl and her fiance who are separated when he gets nabbed by some Arabs.
She thinks he's dead so she becomes a nun and then of course, he shows up again.

Pretty bad movie but it was interesting in that it was originally 15 hours long, then they pared it down to 4 hours then down to 13 reels, about 3 and 1/4 hours long.

The wedding scene (where she becomes a nun), took 25 continuous hours to film.
