Are you going to take anything to help clean up your system...like golden seal used to do for people? I always wonder when people talk about that - having to take a drug test for a job...I used to periodically go through worrying about piss or hair tests for a job.

Now for this 24/7 caretaker job (for The Mother) I don't have to be concerned. Its just my sanity I occasionally worry about losing. I put this in italics, and realized that kind of implies I might want another caretaker job, which IS VERY WRONG!

I WILL NOT DO THIS CARETAKING AGAIN! Not with an old person.

When I used to walk my friend's little dachshund I always carried 3 bags, just in case. He was ALWAYS good for 2 bags, and sometimes for 3. Now the poor little fella just has to do his business outside on his tether....nobody is around to walk my little buddy.

 

I'm in the direct path to view the solar eclipse.

So...if bff, LuAnn, and I just go sit in a parking lot up the road...that is what will happen because I'm watching this!!! Here at the house, in the woods, I can't say there would be anywhere I could watch it unimpeded. Her house is the same, loaded with trees.

I'm also already thinking of what all I can do to set Mama up so she can be entertained and keep her ass in this house for the hour or so that I'm gone. She is fine when she knows I'm doing her bidding on Friday at the grocery stores. When I'm just going somewhere to visit (or have fun) I ALWAYS go visit for no more than an hour at night because I know she won't be figuring out 100 things she needs to do outside at night.

Of course, this will be in the daytime...it may take me until Aug 20th to come up with something that will both entertain her and keep her inside for the short time we'll be watching.
