turned the AC on a couple hours ago, keeping the house a nice and hopefully affordable constant 80 degrees, nice.
just went out back and it's fucking scorching hot already, damn near burned my feet on the cement after a couple minutes and definitely not letting Buddy out, don't need blisters on his paws.
need to get a thermometer for outside to see how close to hell it gets around here.
BUT I will admit it is much more comfortable here than where we lived before.
Before we were about 8-10 miles from the coast and hot days were miserable with the humidity. Now we are 30+ miles further inland in high desert area and much less humidity, so even though it's as hot as satans asshole, it isn't "stick to everything" humid hot.

Buddy sure as hell does appreciate the wood/tile floors at the new house over the carpet that just held heat at the old house.
but he does get bored as hell during the day so that when the sun goes down around 8 pm he is ready and roaring to go out and play.
So when I'm getting tired and thinking of bed, he is jumping around like a crazy pooch wanting to play.

I have my big 80 gallon acrylic tank outside because I need to buff out some scratches before setting it up, sure hope it doesn't warp or melt in the heat this coming week. :(

Y'all gotta move somewhere high in mountains where the afternoon breeze is your air-con hehe.

I'd like with Aeri weather at Atlanta, we are 5° off their high but we're also twice as cool as their low and I get cold at night time. :D

Look at Phoenix though 47°C that's almost half boiling and a minimum of 32° that's your high Aeri I mean fuck. That.

I remember once getting off a plane in Dubai at 630am and it was already 36° and just seriously no thx. No Fucken way.

I had to translate this quickly to English but this was from like a month ago where I got really angry at this guy I think I posted about it lol. I never actually said anything to him or named and shamed, I just said "it's a shame some people can't find the brake pedal" but referred to this guy who's now officially apologized to me.

I like the apology too it seems genuine. I think I might cross him off my Wreck of Demand notepad I have beside me.

    Hi Jocelyn,

I was just reading through the forums for the first time this series and have been meaning to apologize for week 1. It was completely my fault and i felt really bad about it i hate ruining peoples races. I honestly thought from within the car that i didn't come up that much but in the replay i obviously completely misjudged the corner and by the time i watched the replay you had already left the server so i didn't get to say sorry. I have raced a lot of k&n races with you over the time and i know your a clean and fair racer and you didn't deserve to have your race ended by my stuff up.

    Thanks

It's just that the humidity is so high.

We will have 85F with the heat index of 105F.

That's alot of steam to slog around through.

I don't like humidity either, one reason I've never been a beach person. And seaweed. Like eww who wants to swim with that? Hell I'll take my snow melt and creeks in the mountains any day of the week over a beach with sand. And salt. And seaweed and those puffer fish too.

Alright soooo who wants a job??????

I'm in the need of a "supply chain coordinator" which I'm not even sure what this position means but from what I can gather, I need to employ someone who can manage supplies in and out. Seems easy? Now I gotta find someone.

I'm going to continue to experiment and get my "special" seeds to successfully germinate and grow into a plant, so I've several growing now. Technically they should be in all different stages...but there are 2 3 leaved 6 inch or so tall, and then little ones.

good grief...It'll be warm here through October so I'm keeping me a wet paper towel.

My friend in Oregon posts pictures of her legally grown weed, and it blows my mind...literally. She uses this nutrient system - Nectar of the Gods, and apparently it is The Shit.

I'm beginning to give all of mine plants this year some plant food...plus the new ones also have good bought soil.

    smh

My son said that last week while I was gone, a big apple fell from the tree and broke his favorite plant right off in the bucket.

I think he said on of the ones that's straight in the ground is about 3 ft. tall.

for what its worth, when i measured myself (via 2 different methods) im supposed to be a 32-34 F cup.... but i cant "fill" a 34 C. bra sizes are dumb. but mine are a handful, and IMO, thats juuuust right.
