Had a pleasant 20 min talk with Gene, a 65+ year old lady with cancer.

We talked about our pets and kept cancer out of the discussion. She wants nothing more than to beat cancer so she can be with her dog Georgie Porgie.

 

my daughter has been in the habit of waking up at 4am and not going back to sleep.

the lack of sleep is getting to me. been having a lot of anxiety problems lately and this definitely isn't helping.

oh well, at least it is friday.

 

sleep regressions suck donkey balls. it will even out eventually, try to catch a bit of a nap when you can.

 

yeah she goes through this every couple of months, it seems. eventually she gets too tired and falls back asleep and things go back to normal from then on.

 

I'm not a lager drinker, but I do like a bottle of Stella..

I'm not sure about your info rolling, but I've always thought of Stella as being an ok beer, it's certainly one of the more expensive..

parts for this atv im working on came up to almost $500 and i didnt even order everything i wanted

 

just bought 3000 knives to try on a machine at work the usual knives I use are High speed ( carbon ) steel and cost abought £ 1 . 50 each
These ones have tungsten inserts on the cutting edge and are going to cost me £ 8 each !!
the normal HSS Knives usually make about 1000 metres of carpet before they need regrinding I tried a couple of dozen of the TC insert knives and got 22000 metres After 7 Regrinds a knife has to be scrapped so according to my sums we should ( In the long run ) save some money.
only downside is that we dont have a machine that will regrind Tungsten carbide so this has to be done in Germany but I got a good price with the company and they said they will do the first set free .

If this all goes Tits up I get a Bollocking But if it works out Then " I am just doing my job " Ha ha wish me luck with it ( I ordered the knives on Thursday and they will take twelve weeks to make ) :scholar:?
