I am surprised...ok, well maybe cuz I bitch about it so much, but I tend to get a lot of likes (feeling special) so I like to give back! I dk. Awe, I feel weird now. Lol

And I don't care if you call me an it (wait... ) but I was gender ambiguous for a long time (on HIP), and, with few exception, I find it healthier for me to keep it that way, or something. I dk. I'm still shocked I was mentioned so much! Kinda mixed feelings, tbh, but with this crowd, it's mostly good ones.

The weather is crazy today.

It'll be sunny, you turn around to do something for a little while, look outside and it's sunny but it rained while you weren't looking.

It's very often like that in England.

Boy but it's hot today. My room is like a heatsink.

Drinking plenty of iced water to cool down.

Well I finally got the easel set up for painting. It's marvellous. Bit fiddly to put together but we got it done. It's sturdy and tight, the wood well machined.

Peter brought his projector over, but unfortunately the bulb has gone. But he's got another exactly the same so we can just switch bulbs.

Afterwards we went for a curry. Poor Peter has shingles on his neck and he's not in such great shape. The waiter in the restaurant tried to make out Peter was going to be off putting to other diners, because ebooks a bit rough. I thought he was going to ask us to leave. So I had to virtually beg him to let us eat. It was all okay though and we had a great meal.

I've been simplifying everything down to the important stuff so hopefully I can start to get things done.

 

It is gross outside today. It feels swampy. I made my own bug spray out of lemongrass oil today after getting bit by a bunch of mosquitos yesterday. Then today I got bit by fire ants :/

I do not enjoy living in the south this time of year

My sister-in-law had shingles just as she started out for a beach holiday. She took lots of medication.

 

Through some tea tree oil in with the lemongrass; and put the tea tree oil on your bites.

One of my cats killed a squirrel and I think he's got the damn thing stashed under the front porch.

I saw him with it. Hubby went out to take it away from him but the cat wouldn't have that.

Then it started raining and thunder storming.

I let two more cats and the dog come inside but I didn't see that one cat.

After that, he comes to the door, licking his lips. Lightening crashes and he runs under the porch before I can open the door.

He won't come out.

I know that squirrel is under there.

I hope he moves it after the rain.

 

Word. Sometime last week I got into a bunch of chiggers and now I got bites all over my legs and ass. And I'm not supposed to scratch?
