I appreciate the sentiment, but it's hardly a question of luck is it? As for happy, It looks like Labour will lose, and they are my party. Whatever this jamboree will soon be over and life will continue. I'm not excessively partisan to be honest, I just want a degree of civilization.

The main thing is to get out there and vote!

Myself I'm expecting the worst but hoping for the best.

Well it's just something people say. I hope you don't break a leg also when people tell you to???

I figured it was pretty civilised. But I apologise for the offense..

and if I'm honest, I wouldn't write labour off quite yet. Many people registered to vote. Where new, younger labour voters are appearing, in what numbers we can't say, it's interesting to consider against an also pretty vague shy, older Tory group.

This is basically why polls are wrong. Social desirability bias

just go back from voting ...........what i dont get is the ballot slip i had given to me had my local councilors on to mark off and not the main party candidates ? i suppose me point is i may not want to vote for my local candidate from the same party { for whatever reason } but i wanted to vote for the party leader and only could do by voting for my local candidate ?, seems a bit strange to me , just a niggling thought.

It's not about the content, but about her face and especially her mouth as she talks. Instantly reminds me of those animated mouths..!

I found all of her speeches after these attacks in London and Manchester as well as several election and brexit talks to the public come across as uninspired. I wanted to say cliché as well, but of course it is understandable they get some what repetitive :p The combi is unfortunate though.

Well a good politician should be inspired. And come across as such. She tries i guess but if you fail at that it only comes across as less inspired/sincere. Not sure what America has to do with that. Counts here as well
