They put on a good show, as long as it's a smaller venue.
I don't think they get enough credit for the influence they've had on other bands.

311 kicks ass!!! They have been such an influence on me as a musician and as a human being. Their message has always been an inspiring one, and I have never heard an album that was bad from them.

you ever heard of urban dance squad??? they are one of my favorite bands of all time, similar sound and vibe to 311, only about 10 years earlier....

I think they are swinging back from their kind of sucking phase. Their last album sounded more like the old-school.

i really used to dig 311 alot more than i do now, they still rock and kick ass, but i like to see a little bit more free form stuff at shows, a little live soloing and random stuff, which the do do, a little,
ive seen them twice, once at a 1/2 house arena, (i was onthe floor) and at a big outdoor venue, by far the floor was the best, they rocked,a nd it was sooooooo full of energy

    great band

I love 311's lyrics (in their songs that aren't played on the radio)

If you like 311 theres a pretty cool ska band called "the urge" and they sound similar. Anyone else familiar?
