This freaking rib injury from falling feels worse every day. It's like the painful area is growing and spreading. I guess all the cartilage wants to be inflamed now.

Today it hurts to breathe.

 

It hurts even to read that, damn.


This year on Pam Sunday (Flower Sunday) I didn't wash my face with water with flowers in it, and it was always one of my favorite traditions :-/

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll google it. I loooove face mists and thermal water sprays, so refreshing. My skin loves all that stuff.

It's a Palm Sunday tradition here, and this year I got so caught up in a lot of stuff, so it simply slipped my mind...until Sunday noonish, and then it was too late. And it's such a lovely tradition.
And even my mom forgot to remind me booooo.

 

and that reminded me that I need to always (try to) find time for certain things
and make room in my head

Good that its about 50/50. Erdie is pissed off yeah he won but not with the numbers he liked to (and claimed.. although every turk who voted no is a traitor of Turkey anyway )

finally getting the other side more livable again.. so much trash .. tv sets .. I just smashed the tv sets and put them in trash bags. fuck all that jjazz.. cant fool me all the dump dump stuff goes to the same dump .. recycling is a $$$ scam. drywall patched up well . still some buckling but i used some fishnets in plaster as anchors. need to trim aroind the door and the outside wall thats been water damaged ,, a raccoon can climb thru the under side the porch into the house if it wanted to.. I do have some chicken wire and fiberglass in there to keep out the drafts ..

 

We got a good rain this afternoon; time to go check out the garden.

 

Hopefully you don't have family or friends that think it's funny to make you laugh with sore or broken ribs.

Lol. I remember after I'd fallen from the horse maybe 3 days after with the 4 cracked rips and I was coughing and it hurt. So I must have been making a weird face so Laura is laughing which is making me laugh which is killing my ribs which makes me hurt so much I'm literally being sick in the sink, which is even worse than the laughing was lol. And every breath I could feel a piece of my ribs feel like a jigsaw it would click up and down. On my side was okay but on my back you could feel and hear it.

 

Luckily, the Devil never makes me laugh and the grandkids aren't that mean, so it's all good.

 

My kids' male cousin spoke to my son and the phone today and he chatted with me and my daughter on messenger. He says his sister isn't doing so well right now (messing with drugs I think) so we haven't had contact from her.

It's pretty cool to know they exist. The cousin said my kids' dad looks so much like his dad did. I hope he will send some pics of him for us to compare. He (my ex's brother) died of liver disease at 56 years old; and he had a heart attack at 50. Knowing my ex, that's scared the shit out of him.

Now, my son is kind of like "What do we do now? There's really no point in trying to persue a relationship with our cousins or anything...).

It'll be nice just to know they exist, I think - To send them Christmas cards and such.

I guess it ended up being a little anti-climatic for my son.

 

I feel for you Aerianne. I hurt my thumb today. Every once in a while I hit it wrong and it's like I just hurt it again.
