Nobody seems to gripe about the wall on Mexico's southern border, or the barrier between India and Pakistan that can be seen from orbit. And of course the Vatican walls are still in place. Like it or not, walls have a purpose folks. The one I have keeps neighbor's dogs from shitting around my raspberry crop.

I agree. Walls and boundaraies have a purpose in our life. and they work too. Look at the Chinese for example. They built a wall almost 2000 years ago and they still don't have any Mexicans.

 

Next time you think about the US military in the UK think about the fact that if they were never there it wouldn't be the UK it would be Germany.

I'm thinking more of all the damage the US has done to the world since then, let's not forget about that.

And of course there's also the conspiracy theory that WW2 was engineered by US defence companies to stimulate profits.

True or not, that aside, the US just can't fucking argue that it's apparent drive towards "full spectrum dominance" of the world is justified based on WW2. This was 70 years ago and most of the people involved in that are now dead.

Since then the US has commited genocide in a great number of countries across the world, destroyed ecosystems, coerced forgeign administrations into falling into line with their policy on drugs which has created an underground market run by criminals (eg. the CIA) and destroyed many people's lives. It has even commited terrorist attacks on it's own soil under the cover of Black flag operations in order to generate support for the invasion of Iraq and Afganistan.

Australia perhaps, a lot of my friends have done that and I hear that some people over there are actually quite nice.

The US is a superficial nation that's founded on lies and bloodshed, the same I imagine with most other countries including Australia and especially the UK.

I'm not having a dig at American people, I'm saying I have no plans to go there due to the increasingly totatitarian political climate.

My comment about Australians was a subtle dig at GLEN, but that said I might actually consider moving to Australia one day, or Canada... Iceland, Norway, India... I don't know. All depends on whether I end up with a criminal record this year I suppose.
