$200 for a ticket is ridiculous for that lineup. And two nights of WSP? I dont like that either.

Yes, the Gourds did Gin and Juice, commonly attributed to Phish.

I remember seeing two nights of Panic, in the south, for $30 and a drive from Dallas (Bronco Bowl) to Houston (Aerial? Theatre) We had PLENTY of room to dance as I was in the back (never a rail rider with them) and we could boogie hard and spin long and never bump each other.
If you want to see one or two performers, don't do it as a festival set.
Go see them on their own or at least at a smaller fest with longer stage times.

since Mars Volta is touring independently I might just save about $150, listen to an Ozomatli cd and find out about the other acts online =/
But there is enormous pressure from friends who missed last year =/
+ it's a good wild draining time & I don't mind the crowds, the few shadetree mofos and the etc probs. Eh ~ I guess I should start saving up now?

what? you don't want to see 2 nights of panic? what could be better?

i for one am looking forward to 'roo this year, last year was quite trying on my skin and i came back like an alligator but it was worth it... it can only get better with the boys of panic back on the road and going strong. as for people not going, just don't go, you don't have to make mean comments and make a ruckus, if people want to spend their money to see 3 days of awesome music, they can and for the music factor, they "expanded" the musical types last year, but it's good to do, no one likes listening to the same bands every day... i personally went away from bonnaroo with tons of new bands that i loved their sound, just open your mind to new stuff, there isn't gonna be any poppy-shit people would rebel like hell if there was.

sorry I was being negative. I feel bad. it's just that I went to Bonnaroo all three years. I even went VIP for two. I'm disappointed that it has changed so much. Even last year was just... different.

sorry for my negative vibes, guys. seeing the dead not on the line up kinda broke my heart. seeing some others that are ON it stabbed it a little more.

Donna the Buffalo, Karl Denson, B/V & Mike, Bela Fleck. I say O K! Anyone know if Robert Randolph's booked? That's about the only other person I'd expect to see at Bonnaroo that I'll be sad if they don't book. Oh, and Jurassic 5, and MM&W.

    And Sizzlah (yeah right).

It's weird to see Donna the Buffalo get added to the 'roo lineup. I've seen them since I was a kid.
