(how in the heck did greensleeves become a christmas song?
that's totally not what it was origeonally about,
but i liked the filk:
"alas my love you've done me dirt,
you've sown green sleeves on my pur ple shirt ..."
it was actually about that birth of a child alright,
but in a royal family where a bunch of political factions
thought they had to kill each other or die trying,
because it happened)
(i also liked the french horn part that i got to play when i was in high school orchestra)
(almost the only time our section got to play anything other then the "puh" part of the "um"-puh)
