IT was a good movie but I was kind of disappointed. First off those girls did not look like they were 13. I have a 13 year old brother, and him and his friends don't look that old. lol 2nd, I thought the ending was really bad. No way is she just going to be all better after that. lol Read the book "Crosses" I forget who it's by but I think the girl stole the idea from this book and changed it around. Because the book is alot similar to the movie.
actually i dont think they were meant to look 13, they made that movie because there are a lot of girls that are 13 but infact look much older especially by the way they dress and act
I thought this movie was hilarious. I don't understand how some people can be that stupid. I was looking foward to seeing it because I heard such good things but in the end I thought it just sucked. Oh no.....family problems....quick lets go do some coke on my bed and then go find some black guys.
It was really good and since it was cowritten by Nikki Reed, it was very accurate about the middle school scene
I liked it so much I had to go out and buy it when it came out on video and i make anyone I know watch it. I agree it's depressing but I forgot until the end that they were only 13 years old.
I couldn't possibly agree more. And the fact that it was written by a teen means absolutely nothing. A 14 year-old wrote it so for her intellectual ability/standards, it's good? No way.
No people are saying that it's good so that makes her amazingly smart I disagree with that but, I think her knowing people like this helped with the movie.

i saw it a number of times. i thought it was pretty good considering that i used to act like that...some what well with the parting and such. the cutting was a little bit 2 much, don't u think. i know a lot of ppl think thats a great way to releave pain. the movie kind of promotes it.
I think women like this movie a lot more than men in general.. I just thought it was ok, but I had actually expected it to be a lot more shocking.. Ok the cutting isnt exactly Disney, but it just wasn't all that intense in my opinion..
i thought it was great...especially since this one is a true story.and the girl who this happened to totally changed her life around.that to me makes it a great movie.
that movie was cool.but i think it would have been more realistic if they were 16 or something!but over all it was really good.because that stuff does happen and the ending was good because it shows people that true friends are there through thick and thin not just to smoke get a few piercings then leave just cuz they wont adopt you.
