    Baby...

    It's a fucking great idea!

Then in a couple of weeks, tell one of your friends that it's her turn to host.

It'll be Spring before you know it.

Try to stay busy. This time of year, extra free time is likely to get filled up with negative thoughts.

I feel you. I've been feeling off for the last few weeks and have been a dick to be around at times.

5-HTP helps, but don't take it if you're taking any anti-depressants of any sort. I can't take it because I take tramadol, and the combination can cause serotonin syndrome apparently. Oh well.

I had one of those blue lights in the past and it seemed like it actually helped a bit. You do like 20-30 minutes each morning while you're eating breakfast or reading or something. It might have just been a placebo, but I guess it doesn't matter as long as it works.

I don't really know you, but feel free to shoot me a message if you ever need someone to talk to or just need to vent and get shit off of your chest!

I looked into it and the inexpensive ones don't do anything for your vit D levels.

This is a great time in the year!

It's tougher getting through late January and whole February.

Im not depressed either. I just know i will be low on vit D in the next few months. Gonna look into that fish oil stuff too: sometimes it is better to prevent than to cure, right!

is it the culture or the weather?
midwinter get togethers may have started for people to have each others company to get over the weather.
but then people came to expect things of each other and of doing so
and expectation is where dissapointment comes from.

but then what i'm not sure.

i think we're supposed to enjoy strangeness
and when we don't let each other do so
that's when and how we mess each other up.

affection is good, certainly a thousand times better then antipathy,
but it just really can't take the place of creating and exploring

its a time to celebrate being nice to each other
    but when we expect
    well that's what that is
and none of us ever live long enough
    to get over expecting entirely

    the reward of avoiding expectation
is to be enjoyably surprised by every good and wonderful thing.

My sister suggested fish oil to me yesterday and I happened to have some here, so I started taking it.

i love cold stormy weather myself.
    storms are entertaining
and you don't have to deal with as many annoying people
unless you have to live with them.

of course if you do, i can see why you'd rather be out.
but storms don't have to keep you in
if you dress for it and keep yourself in health to deal with it.

that would be one reason to alter our dna
to grow that nice fluffy green fur i was talking about in that other thread
