Cradle of filth, rammstein, nin anything thats heavy and depressing. rammstein arent depressing but theyr good to listen too while angry.
I'm not easily angered, but when I'm stressed and I feel I'm going to throw stuff around, I always play SATANIC HATEFUL WARPSPEED BLACK METAL ANYTIME ANYWHERE. Great songs for this purpose are Satyricon - I.N.R.I. Marduk - Slay the Nazarene Dark funeral - The arrival of satan's empire Naglfar - Horncrowned majesty and many, many, many, many more.
I listen to them quite often, but when I'm upset or something I only listen to Blind Melon..... ah so good..
Slayer, Vio-lence or pretty much any other '80s thrash if I want to stay angry. If not, all I have to do is throw on Steve Hillage's Live Herald and it all just dissipates...
Usually I'ma happy person with different taste in music. But these are some of the bands that help me deal with things when I'm angry or just get me thinking about things Nine Inch Nails A Perfect Circle Tool Motley Crue(John Corabi album Only) Pantera Metallica
My favorite CD to put in when I'm angry is Ryan Adams' "Rock n Roll". It's heavy & fast with plenty of profanity!
(Awesome Question!) Since I'm a, "CD Burning Junkie", I actually have a set disc that I usually play when I'm 'upset'. It starts out pretty hard (a few songs by above mentioned bands and some other random angst-driven tunes) to help me get out all the 'bad vibes', if you will, then goes to some slower selections (some Radiohead, Phish, Queen, Sublime, etc.), and then ends with songs that will help lift my mood; such as the only song I know by The Police -and love- "Roxanne". On a quick personal note, I thought I'd let anyone who's reading this know that this is my first post ever... - I'm the 'new kid'. I also apologize in advance for any excessive use of quotes - " "- and elipses -...-; I do use those quite often...
Pink Floyd, Track 1, "One of these Days" - CD:Meddle It starts out with a stream base line, and some cool keyboard effects, and then gilmours guitar just explodes in that all rock sound, like an implosion of anger, its like a musical version of a Bad Trip - I like to listen to it when im feelin blue.
man, im not trying to offend anyone, but i really hate limp bizkit. they're so... white. and not in the good way
hmm...i dont get angry a whole lot, but if im in a band mood and intend to stay like it for a while, then Rage Against the Machine is always good- 'Killing In The Name Of' usually does the trick If im like, sad-angry then something mellow but cheery, like Cat Stevens will sort me out! xox
