A list of publications who make a living ginning up useless crap. I'm telling you, "The KKK" isn't a threat to anyone and hasn't been for decades. A "50% rise" in most of the country meant they went from 2 drunken members to 3. Also, most of the swastika painting is bogus. The style is all wrong, though someone has done a little homework by tilting it properly. However, starting with an X was strictly verboten.

Seriously, there is no KKK. The Obama presidency should have proven that inconclusively. It's a cheap scare tactic aimed at simple minds.

Right, the only "KKK" you see these days are fabricated by the press or they are posers in costumes trying to get on the news. If there was a "real" KKK don't you think they'd bring more than a dozen fools to a "rally" that's likely to see hundreds of counter protesters? It's as foolish as the monk on a college campus who was misidentified as a robed klansman. I'd almost suggest betting on Bigfoot instead of the bedsheet brigade.

And David Duke is a figment of our imaginations. You sound like an expert? First hand?

330 million people and you found one Klan member and relying on that in your rebuttal?

Dude, I could find more people with Objectophilia.

Quick now, put your cars in the garage, Objectophilias are marching and they voted for Trump! Ahhhhhhhhh

I'm going to toss this in...and it doesn't really have anything per se to do with the OP...but it seems that isn't of great concern. :)

I know for a fact the KKK is real...in SC it is anyway.

I used to see a man that was in the KKK. He never ever discussed this with me...one day when I was at his house and he was at work, I was cleaning up...and was overcome with the awful desire/need to snoop. I found a medal, a book and other paraphernalia, carefully wrapped up and HIS NAME WAS ON some of the stuff.

During the course of our seeing each other, I began to feel like he was deeply racist. In fact, the only thing we ever had a serious argument about (more than 1) was about me being very bothered by him being prejudiced/racist. He couldn't understand "why I gave a damn since he wasn't a 'n", which would just set me off again... etc etc However, he quit using that word I despise and basically quit expressing any kind of racist remarks around me. I also felt that the people (men only) he was close friends with were the same; but it didn't take very long for him to quit putting me in situations/places around these men. At the time, I wondered about that, yet I didn't dwell on it.

After finding his KKK "id", I felt like a fool for not realizing that something was seriously up with him and the racism....but prior to that, the KKK was just something I'd read about. It was not real to me. Seeing that shit, those material things I could see and touch, up close and personal was an eye opener for me.

I carefully replaced everything exactly as I found it...and within the week I got out of that relationship!!!

But hey...if people don't want to "believe" the KKK is real...it has most certainly been proven to me that anybody can believe and think anything they want...but I know for an absolute fact the KKK exists. And this was not a drunk fool man either.

(His last name was the same as the young man that shot up the church in Charleston.)

What happened is very unfortunate but no unexpected given the divisiveness of the campaign,

The KKK, American Nazi Party, and Aryan Nation praised Trump's hiring of former Breitbart executive Stephen Bannon as his chief strategist.
David Duke, a former KKK leader who lost his Senate bid last week in Louisiana, called Bannon’s hiring an “excellent” decision.

There’s never any excuse for violence but it this case it could be called self-defense

I appreciate you opening up on your story. I understand your point and to me, the notion that we do not ever really know one another is
    overtly worrisome.

Let me briefly address Laguna's attack on my character, honor, personality, ethics, morals, understanding of history, etc.

My, such a list. I must say I am deeply honored by the "get the hell out" part, I haven't heard that since I first grew long hair in 1969.
It's a clear indication that I have struck a nerve with the bigoted, racist elements that have come to embody the next presidential tenure.
Just as in 1969 when the red necks would shake their fists and yell "Love it or leave it" and toss us out of various stores, businesses, public areas, and schools.

Thank you sir, I am honored.

I cant remember the exact statistic, i'll look it up later when i have time, or you can

But i read not too long ago that white nationalistic hate groups in America have increased by a significant amount since 2014.

For every video anyone posts of blacks beating up Trump supporters, I have seen similar videos of whites terrorizing minorities. I never thought I would see something like this in my lifetime, but white nationalism is on the rise. Give it time and it will be more apparant. The KKK may not be significant anymore but there are other groups with the same agenda

I don't know what all this is about.

Saudi Arabia has one of the worse human rights record in the world, but they have also been a strategic ally of the U.S since WWII. They have large oil reserves which the U.S. is weaning itself from but its allies still need. It is a moderating force in the Arab Israeli conflicts.

Relationships with Saudi Arabia are complicated as Hillary Clinton pointed out:
And so it is with the rest of your accusations...I'm not going to spend my time on presenting contray points other that to say:

LGT killings...no idea what you're talking about.
Treatment of women...no idea what you're talking about.
Innocent Yemens...no idea what you're talking about.

    Etc. etc. etc.

When I was growing up, the KKK Grand Dragon or Grand Wizard or whatever the fuck he called himself lived in Lexington, NC and the Klan regularly burned crosses in nearby Denton, which was a community they had declared to be for whites only. It still doesn't have a black neighborhood. All this was within an hour's drive from my house.

I've lived in a couple of places that were supposed to be KKK strongholds like Southern Indiana and Lake County Florida. If that's as good as they get, they're nothing to worry about. The problem we have is the way the press et al treat ANY sort of gathering of white people. ANY expression of pride in their race or culture is instantly decried as pure racism. So it's no mystery with the press calling Trump, of all people, a "racist" since he's both white and republican (wellllll, he's not a REAL republican, but that's why he won).

This woman from Pepsico really threw it out though. Actually suggesting that her employees are asking her if they are "safe" now that Trump has been elected. This is all cheap marxist propaganda, to act "afraid" when there's nothing to REALLY fear. Just like watching the press actually promote the KKK who probably wouldn't exist at all if not for the way they are dragged out at EVERY election (nevermind how quiet and virtually unseen they are in non-election years).

Until I see REAL "KKK" actions, I'm calling BS on the klan.

One other thing, just because you see someone taking a beating doesn't mean they are innocent. It really doesn't. I beat the crap out of a guy who hit my sister, he deserved what he got. And he never put his hands on my sister again. But to a casual observer it surely looked like a white guy beating up a Hispanic asshole. Oh the humanity.

It's time for a lot of people to back off this foolish rhetoric. It's causing far more problems than anything Trump has done. And I have never been a fan of the guy, I'd rather have Bernie. But I can accept the results of the election and will be hitting the street, to get another bottle of scotch. Do wake me up when "The KKK" actually goes national again.

David Duke is also a failed relic. If you actually listen to his radio show you can clearly hear how pathetic he and his movement have become. Again, these people don't actually DO anything. Even their sainted web site (I won't post the name in this hallowed place) is a garage operation that claims 200,000 "members" internationally. They are lucky to see 30 actual users in a day.

Duke's other buddy, Don Black, is also a miserable failure. He thought his son was going to be the "New Face" of white nationalism many years ago. Instead, he went to college and never looked back. So at least it's not entirely generational.

I only see these WN groups as barely capable of being an effective gang. I think we all know who really runs the gang business in the US, and it's not middle class white people. The vast majority of gangs in the US are run by "minorities" (a term that will become useless soon). And these minority gangs have a national charter that's much larger than the KKK ever way.

But we don't talk about them anymore, because we have "The KKK" to worry about. It would be laughable if it wasn't so pathetic.

First off, how can you say Saudi Arabia has the worst human rights record in the world, and then be totally oblivious to the mistreatment of women and the senseless executions of homosexuals?

They may have large oil reserves, but so does Russia. I'd rather see the United States get along better with Russia than go to war with them over an unproven wiki leak conspiracy theory.

    You might be confused.

Outside of the Iranian genocide, how many people has capitalism murdered? That's OK. Take as much time as you need, like eternity.

In contrast, how many hundreds of millions were murdered in pursuit of that "share the wealth" lie that you guys have going on?
