Finished Da Vinci's Ghost, about Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man. The 2,000 year old history of it before Da Vinci, how Da Vinci came upon it's predecessors, the history of how Da Vinci conceived his version.

There have been clown sightings in my town? I say that with a question mark because what the actual fuck? Several people have reported a clown trying to lure them into the woods around town.

My point is, I picked up a copy of Stephen King's It yesterday to try to make sense of it all.

Holy fuck that is BEYOND creepy.

Not sure if you knew, but an IT remake is currently in the works. Release date was set for September 2017. Stephen King even posted his excitement about it on Facebook a few days ago.

My husband read the book about a year ago and enjoyed it very much. I have never read the book, but I have seen the movie many times.

I was going to start reading it last night but I keep thinking about this fucking clown, I don't want to terrify myself. So maybe I'll wait until they catch him.

I haven't actually seen the original It but I should probably see it before I read the book because I never enjoy a movie if I read the book first

You never enjoy a movie if you read the book first? Really? Most people, including myself, are the opposite. If I've seen the movie, then I won't enjoy the book (and will likely not even read it).

Really? See, I've always thought most people enjoy the books better than the movies. Books are so much more richly detailed, and movies always leave out important bits or change the plot completely

I hated what they did with Narnia. All the kids in the movie were ugly and annoying

I usually DO enjoy the book more than the movie, but if I have seen the movie prior to reading the book, then I wont enjoy the book. Probably because I will have some idea of how the story will go.
