Mhmmm. We flew in to somewhere (I forget where) about 2 hours outside of Amsterdam and took the train into Amsterdam city.
I don't have pictures of my house, but here are some pictures of the scenery of the province I live in. Moraine Lake, Alberta Some lake between Banff and Jasper, Alberta Lake Louise, Alberta Banff, Alberta And because this is Canada, here is a moose wandering around in Banff, Alberta.
don't get me wrong, those are beautiful pictures. but they do kind of miss the point of the thread: giving a more personal look at how the members here actually live. like, here's some pictures of my state:
The moment I started the thread I knew nobody would really post too much in it. I'm sure I said somewhere to put it up. And I was referring to someone accusing me of making things up. So I put up, and they shut up. I mean at the end of the day. Especially me, not many around here want to see me do any good. They don't want to see my house, I already got too much etc. They accuse me of traveling too much, too often... you know, attack my life and all. And they don't want to see that I've done well, or better than them and so they won't show it. Now I'm probably not referring to you, whoever you are reading this right now. But I'm referring to somebody very specific. And while you chew your face up right and stew on every word I type right now, you know I'm right.
But it could be a lot of us too. And I get it. It probably could be depressive if you don't own your own place or you live in an apartment too embarrassed to take a photo of. I understand why many don't post. I just thought be good to see where we all spend our time. So when I'm watching tv, well you can see that, visualize where and what that might look like etc. or when I talk about backyard, you can see that, visualize that. Etc.
I love the idea, Irmi. You guys will get to see more of my place. I'm working very hard on getting it in decent shape for pics. I want you guys to be able to visualize where I sit at my desk, where I cook, where my animals lay around. I promise I'll share soon.
From the driveway, which is about 1/4 mile through the trees from the road.... It's hidden. The main entry looks right through the greatroom to the backyard.... This is the back of the house on southern facing side.... Firepit dead center in the yard. This is the meditation garden behind my bedroom, wall sized picture window lets me see it all year.
More meditation garden... The waterfall. The steps down from the house.... The "missing bridge" crosses that gravel bed, narrow odd angled stone is one of it's bases. It would end close to where I'm standing on this side. No inside photos today... At least I replaced the batteries and took these.
A Lot Of Hard Work Went Into That.........Looks Like A Beautiful And Tranquil Place To Live..... Cheers Glen.
