Hopping Freight Trains Across Canada Video

    Heres a video that I took last summer with my GoPro Hero 4 silver. It shows a friend and I train hopping across Canada, for over 4000 KM (2600 Miles). We went from Toronto to Vancouver.

    Cool thread. I thought about hopping a train once but my partner wasn't into the idea. He was worried about getting beat by the train crew.

    Lol I don't know how much that actually happens to be honest. Don't know about in the US but in Canada it never happens. I think the movie "Into the Wild" made people think that people get beat up by rail workers all the time. From my experience rail workers are usually pretty cool. Just gotta watch out for rail cops because they will arrest you
