Well I fell asleep good and proper after the movies lol. So stoned. So tipsy. So exhausted. I slept for near 8 hours and I've just woke up and Daytona race is on. perfect timing. Now, water pipe, shower, lounge

 

i really hate the 4th on a weekend. every asshole thinks its 4days of fireworks.

There are so many animals that wind up missing at this time of the year, I can't help but wonder just exactly wth the owners think when they leave their dogs (or cats!) outside to get scared to damn death.

That's a main thing I like about facebook. I'm a member of a lost and found animal group. Surprisingly enough, I've seen a number of animals reunited with their owners because of the sharing of the members in the group.

 

We used a cap gun and then the starter .22 pistol to gun train our boy. He just sits and stares at the sky during storms. If he gets anxious it's because I'm in a panic and he senses it. I also used the party poppers tied to trip wires so they'd bang scare him off from going near my rabbits. He pretty much disconcerns himself with loud noises now.

Doesn't like revving car engines though.

 

house next door is vacant and the owner is a fucking goof who thinks playing the stereo 24/7 with bass cranked will make people think its not empty


i swear im going to do something bad to that guy one of these days he's going to disappear down a mine shaft


i have to leave my stereo on low since january to get any sleep (i can sleep if i hear the words but cant sleep with just the thumping bass coming thru the ground)


the only thing saving his house from burning down is that he happened to pick my favourite radio station

 

I couldn't give a shit if my cat disappeared....i'm out of cat food anyways so the timomg would work ot perfectly.....all kidding aside....my still un-named cat of 4 years is actually very fortunate because cats aren't delicious .......

 

That is so smart!!! I am so very dang impressed I can't get beyond that...

I also wouldn't be able to train a dog like that, nor have I ever even heard of it...but then I have never talked to anybody that "trains" their dogs beyond sit, come, and stay. lol well, I have known someone that got their dog to the "roll over" point.

 

Julie don't care about gun fire coming from me. She doesn't like whistle bangs tho..

drifting off to sleep awhile ago and I hear a hen squawk outside my window....I forgot to cclose the big door to the coop.....ooops.....something must have scared them because I had to chase 2 out in my yard with my phone as a flashlight....couple more still missing...ffs

 

it's been a quiet weekend. I look forward to the 4th itself because the whole neighborhood hangs out on the bluff and we drink in the streets and I'm a sap. i feel like the fireworks that annoy me are after the 4th, not before them.

I'm drinking wine again. It's a slow sweet drunk, I like it. I've had the house to myself today. I sang my favorites. It was great.
I don't know what I'm going to do.

I long to be free. And anchored by the fear that I will miss what I have if I leave it.

Columbus fireworks were on Friday but I am too far away to hear them. Someone around here had a lot of fireworks going off last night that woke me up. Our city planned fireworks for Monday. I live two blocks away from the university where they set them off so that will wake me. The weatherman says that it will be raining Monday. Maybe they won't go off.

Ohio has weird laws. They allow the sale of all kinds of fireworks but many of them can't be set off in Ohio. You have to take them out of Ohio in 48 hours after you buy them. :dizzy2:

 

Almost all the states that sell fireworks have that law.

 

I was thinking about this, and i just answered for me last night....but if your true desire is to be free...then you should do that, and not let fear dictate anything ever.
