I took the kitten to the vet to have a Wolf Worm removed.

Now, I'm home about to eat some oatmeal before I go to my 11:00 doctor appointment.

We lucked up with the kitten and minimal charges for that.

Then we took hubby's scripts to be filled and his drug store was out of his hydrocodone until Monday!

Thankfully, the drugstore across the street had stock and we can pick it up this afternoon...nothing worse than drug withdrawals.

    Mother Fucker.

I just tried to go for my regular refill appointment at the doctor. I had to leave without being seen because the office visit charge was raised from $75 to $250.

What a wonderful capatalistic world it has become.
Everything just gets more expensive with lower quality to boot.

I mentioned the doctor and what happened on my facebook.

A friend of mine, from Angel Action Atlanta, has been friends with the head doctor and his family for years. They have a huge practice with many locations. The father doctor turned over the practice to his son and daughter. My friend is giving the son an ear full by text message.

I've been a patient of that practice for something like 25 years.

The doctors office ended up telling me that they now collect $250 upfront and immediately refund the difference - that my visit would have been more like $100 to $120 depending on the labs.

I told them it certainly was not explained to me that way.

I suppose there is a receptionist that is going to get a talking to about this.

Anyway, if/when I go back it has to be after Hubby's check comes on the 3rd when I can afford $250 up front.

On Sunday, the freaking gas station charged $101 up front for my $30 fill up. The didn't give me back my $71 until Wednesday afternoon.

I'm so sick of this kind of crap.

What car holds $101 worth of gas?

That is insane! &101.00 for gas for a car....

All 5 dogs had a physical today, and all were given a blood test to check for lyme's disease and heartworm, and all were negative. thank, goodness.....accept one pug, Galileo, has high levels showing for lyme's, but that is due to the fact that he had lyme's before, so it is nothing new. i said no to any shots................as my holistic vet, who is taking care of Minxy, said too many shots are killing our pets.......I will have to ask her about rabies next time....but my dogs are all not due for that until 2018,. anyway.

Einee has a big growth on his face, so we are looking at $700.00 to remove it by laser....it does not to appear to be anything but benign, but it keeps getting bigger...so i think the removal of it will be in the cards soon.

Did some trimming and mowing in the front yard and up by the road... I found that part for "The Black Thing" mutt mower, so I'm able to cut hillsides again.

I had a dream about Tyrsonswood last night.

It was really vague and difficult to remember. I think at one point he was behind the wheel of some vehicle.

See, I told you it was vague.

So you had to deposit $100 because they have been ripped off by people saying they wanted $30 then filling their car and running off without paying the difference?

Usually they can set the pump to shutoff at the amount you give them from the store.

I'll be doing that if I ever go to that station again.

The thing is, my money was tied up from Sunday afternoon thru Wednesday afternoon. That's too freaking long.

Took the car for inspection...needed tires, I was hoping to scrape by as they were just cupped, I think another place would have passed them..but they had over 30,000 miles on them. I did the brakes myself so I saved about $300 there.

Then went to Ollie's for rope, Aldis, Walmart and Sam's for groceries since we were in town..

Did you pay with a debit/credit card at the pump? If so that hold is actually put on your account by your bank. There is a sign at a gas station I frequent explaining it, although my bank has never done it. My mom had it happen to her at a restaurant once too.

I dont really understand it because i've pumped gas with only $10 in my account before and the pump just shut off at the $10 point. And even if it goes over what is in your account, why cant the bank just charge an overdraft charge like it would anywhere else?

Yes, it was a debit card.

I'm going to have to check that out.

    Thanks.

Terro ant killer is Borax and Corn Syrup... Been on the market forever. They take it back to the hive and it kills the hive off.

There is also a chalk that you can seemingly only get from a Chinese grocery store that is talc and Borax. Draw a line and ants won't cross it...

Borax will also take care of fleas...
