i'm nearly 21 & have been sexually active for quite a few years, i've been with my BF for 5 years. i was on the pill for two years & in that time i tryed nearly every type of contriceptive pill there is but i'm not allowed to use them anymore because they make me very violent & violently sick.

i cant remember how many sexual partners i've had & i cant remember if all of them used a condom or not.

i'm worrying myself in to a state because i've never had an STD test done & i dont think my BF has either, its quite worring that not long ago in the past, the town my BF comes from in England had the highest HIV & AIDS rate in the country.

i'm scared i've got clamindia or something, because i dont take the pill me & my BF dont really use condoms, i've never been pregnant. he pulls out at the last muinit, i know its not like the best way to stop getting pregnant but i would have thought that not taking the pill & not using contriception i would have been by now. if i did i would be thrilled but i'm not planning a baby or planning on getting pregnant this year.

i'm also worried that if i do go & get checked out & i do have something then my BF will accuse me of playing away behind his back. its not the case at all & i dont want to go for these two reasons. in the next 18 month to 2 years i do plan on becomming pregnant.

i'm really scared, i've made apointments at the GUM clinic for the test but chickened out at the last minuit.

It sounds like you think that taking the pill has something to do with STDs. This is false.
Taking the Pill does not reduce the chance of getting an STD.

I suggest that you talk about your concerns with your BF. And then go get tested. It sounds like you want him to be the father of your children. If you don't trust him enough to talk with him, you should reconsider your pregnancy goals.

no i dont think that the pill protects you agains std's at all, thats not what i was trying to say. what i was trying to say was i'm not allowed to take the pill & i dont use any other form of contriception yet i have never been pregnant. i'm scared i have a STD lying dormat in my system thats been there for a few years & is stopping me from being pregnant.

A doctor would be more able to help you than this forum.

Edit: My, that sounds harsh. I'm sure that you know that STD's are serious business. Especialy one that you fear might be screwing with your reproductive system. You shouldn't listen to your fears about your BF. Or to the opinions of the forum members. GET THEE TO A DOCTOR, please.
