It took forever for a Sonic's to come to my part of the country. I kept seeing ads for it all the time, yet I never had any easy access to one. So when my town finally got its first Sonics, I went in and I don't really remember what the taste results were.
I didn't realize sonic was anywhere outside of the southeast. They're ok for fast food, but if I'm eating fast food I prefer Whataburger or Zaxby's. Which you probably don't have there.
Best wishes that they don't end up like ours. Those dolts can't ever get the order right and the gravy in the chicken dinners is akin to lukewarm milky water. But I love their steak and egg burrito and cheese tots and I also love their cherry limeades and the chocolate cream pie shakes that they only have in the summer.
Sonic reminds me of a somewhat cheaper and more luxurious Dairy Queen. And I definitely don't mean cheaper in terms of prices. I haven't been to one in years. Way too expensive for me. Had a buddy that used to work there that told me some pretty unnerving stories. He told me to never get the smoothies or something. I'd have to say my favorite fast food joint is Wendy's.
There are a cpl sonics by my house. The one near you sounds a bit diff. Here you cant go inside at all(bathroom along side) & you either do drive-thru, sit in car & push the button, like old fashioned drive-in & they bring food to car on rollrr skates or picnic tables, hit button and same thing. The regular sonic burger is good for a basic, fast food but just regular, decent burger done righ for where you're at. Some of the hot dogs, like the Chicago dog are good if you can eat hot dogs. Anyways I Like to go to sonic now and then and my kids love it
I wouldn’t say that it’s only a 17 hour drive Seriously though, we don’t have Whataburgers but we do have Wahlburgers Hotwater
